Really loved the hostel. Decore and staff are amazing. The only thing I'd change is a lock for the room and a towel in the bathroom. Breakfast is great. You can make it any time you like and have eggs you can cook yourself.

We loved this hostel, Birgit and Greg are very nice people very down to earth. Nice and tidy rooms, good lockers, you can make your breakfast exactly how you want it, coffee and thea al day and we had a lot of fun in the common room and on the terras! Local bars in the street are nice as well, but you have to go there with a group of people, cause it's not always busy.

Greg and Brigit were super lovely and helpful, the kitchen was always tidy and clean and the beds and entire hostel were well equipped and very clean and comfortable. The only downside is that this hostel is located on the opposite side of the city to many of the attractions we wanted to see, but it is about a half an hour walk to most things. We had a great time here.

It was inconvenient when you stayed upstairs and the shower was downstairs.

Nice place. The owners are friendly, speak great English, and are very helpful. The bathroom area wasn't as great as I'd hoped but it's nothing to complain about either. Location isn't horrible but it's not close to anything good, either. If it's Sunday everything will be closed save for a few restaurants and convenience stores.

The space is unique--a renovated Chocolate Factory--with a small library of books and DVDs as well as a fully equipped kitchen- all which came in handy when traveling on a budget/during the rainy season. The host, Bridgette was very kind and welcoming. The only negative is that it's a bit out of the way from the tourist locations (but near some cool neighborhoods that are worth exploring). Depending on the amount of luggage it can be a mildly inconvenient walk from the main train station.

it was a real pleasure to stay at there. Every little (light, lockers, meals, everything) detail is organized as if someone thought over everything to be convinient. The only issue for me was the location which is in the very Turkish center of Antwerp. But still the place is just awesome, thank you very much dear Bridgit and guys!

Beautiful building, it felt like a home not a hostel - somewhere you genuinely wanted to hang out despite the wealth of funky bars and cafes in Antwerp. Bridget was a friendly and helpful hostess with lots of useful local knowledge. I would definitely reccomend.

I stayed at Abhostel for 2 nights and it was great! The hostel itself looks a bit like a mixture of grandma's livingroom and the attic of an old school, very cool! Also the atmosphere was great, it was more like staying in a bigger flatshare than in a hostel. The owner showed me everything in the beginning and also showed me lots of nice places to go on a map of the city. The hostel itself is not really in the city centre but you can get there in 10-15 minutes, or just take the tram.

Location was OK, 20 min walking to center city, espace enough in the dorms, lockers avalible, good free wifi, the owner is really helpful, good free map, but no activities, poor brealfast. There is a machine in the hostel that sells beers for 1,50 Euros

This Place is amazing huge cOmmon room, and kitchen. Eggs and the usual are provided for breakfast. Be creative French toast, omelette boiled eggs what ever you decide. There is a great selection of DVDs for a quiet night in. It's a short tram ride into the city or 20 min walk. But is great to be with all the locals! Highly recommend coming here if your in antwerp!

Fine place to stay. We had everything we needed. Beer vending machine and terrace where pure lovelyness. Antwerp is very beautiful, but i definitely recommend this hostel. Staff [Brigite and Gregg] were very helpful to show us around and tell us whats good around. No problems, totally clean. Showers didn't have warm water all day long, but other than that all was cool.
