Pretty good hostel, good atmosphere, safe and in a decent location. Simple but exactly what you would expect from a youth hostel.

Before I chose this hostel to stay I read from other people's review that this is a place where you feel at home outside your home, and it's so true! I had this feeling of home from the 1st minute already. The place doesn't look like a typical hotel or hostel but has plenty of creations and personal traits everywhere. The living room and kitchen just felt like those in somebody's home.Staff is welcoming, atmosphere is great, price is cheap, and I would definitely come back!

This was a great experience. Greg and Bridget are like family, in fact many people thought I was her daughter! They're backpackers too so they know exactly what travelers want. This hostel is a little walk to the city center but easy to find and charming to stay in. The big common area allows for people to meet and talk at night or whenever they want. They even give you great maps.Would stay here again in a heartbeat. In fact if I go back Bridget and I are going to eat tex-mex.

By far, the nicest staff that gives you the most "at home" feeling. A great experience and would most definitely stay there again.

I think I would have liked Antwerp more if we'd stayed in a hostel NOT located in the groady, run-down area of town. We had a hard time finding the place, since the outside signage was so small, and standing out in the cold for a few minutes buzzing the doorbell wasn't fun. I had to call the number provided even though we were arriving during the appropriate check-in time. The interior is very factory-like with little character,& disturbingly quiet. Wish the owners would have been around more

Doors don't lock, but lockers were provided. Kitchen roof leaks.

The staff were lovely. I've never felt more welcome at a hostel. He gave me a nice big introduction to the city and told me about some places I might like to eat or things I might like to see. The hostel is a little bit hard to spot because they only have a tiny sign so you need to make sure you know the street number. The only thing I can criticize is the bathroom. They have automatic lights but they turn off when you're in the shower if no one else is in the room. Also mixed gender bathroom.

I can't reccomend this place enough! Great homely atmosphere - the owner even baked chocolate cake for everyone while we were there! The showers don't get that hot but I think this is because they run off solar - so can't complain!

Hipsters eat your heart out this hostel is your vibe. Hospitality second to none in this fun, converted chocolate factory hostel. I had the warmest welcome from one of the owners Bridget. She also baked a cake each day I was there for the guests. The area is a little gritty but arty. Common area facilities were excellent. I was a little bit cold overnight with the bedding provided & the showers weren't quite hot enough for me but to be fair it was January & -5 outside. Great atmosphere.

This was such a nice hostel to stay at. Bridget & Greg are both wonderful hosts. The kitchen is great and the living room and extensive supply of dvds are great as well. It really feels like staying at home. One of the best hostels i've ever stayed at. Free chocolate cake as well.

a little far from the center (like most hostel) but near the tramway and very easy to go to center and train station by foot, nice people running the place, cool breakfast, and a very nice kitchen/resting place

Nice hostel and nice owners, the location is a little far from the center and in a dodgy location by night.
