Booked last minute as wanted to go over and watch the rugby. Great location, right in the heart of Temple Bar and 5 minutes walk from the bus station. Good: Room was nice and warm with a comfy bed. Bad: The staff weren't particularly friendly but were polite, could've done with a nicer communal area, shower was cold for one of us (had 2 bed ensuite) Didn't make it up for breakfast so can't comment on that!

We had a great time staying at Abigailes Hostel for the 6 nations. There were 8 of us girls in one room . The room was hot and clean and the staff and security were great. Ideal location for Temple Bar and central Dublin and the Arlington opposite the river. Great value for money, the breakfast was good, although most of us were too hungover to eat much!!! There was a nice communal area and the security was great. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

We think that sometimes the staff speak too fast, they should keep in mind that for foreigners it's difficult to understand irish accent.

Amazing location, beds/rooms/bathrooms are all fine, though nothing to write home about. Staff was a bit unfriendly but I was only there to sleep so interaction wasn't really necessary anyway.

Abigails is in a very interesting place, near from everything - I visited a lot of touristic points by foot - and it is also very clean and confortable. Nevertheless, the recepcionists are very nice!

I enjoyed my stay at Abigails. The location and price were both great, the facilities were excellent, and breakfast was better than I've had before at other hostels. Wifi worked well in the room, and the staff were mostly very accomodating... well, with the exception of one or two who were a bit rude and looked like they couldn't have been bothered being there. Overall, I'd definitely stay again, and recommend it to others too.

Needed somewhere cheap and central in Dublin city centre and this place was exactly that. Arrived at the desk, got our keys, the system for gettin in was explained and that was us. Doors opened 24 hours a day which was perfect as we were just down for a night out.

Overall very good indeed. Only small recommendations would be to use e-swipe cards to save going to reception each time for key and maybe install lockers or cages in rooms (rather than at ground floor). Also the aircon was out in my particular room so may want to check that. Would also spatially-wise create a movie room using dividers as open plan can be a bit chilly/breezy when it's in cold weather. But generally: great breakfast, fast WiFi, warm room, good bed and location was unbeatable :)

The location was perfect for sightseeing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds/mattresses were very uncomfortable. The wi-fi wasn't the greatest. Cleanliness could be improved.

Clean, secure and right in the heart of Dublin. Staff was helpful when I asked them some silly questions. Enjoyed my stay!

This is an incredible hostel. Very clean and very secure. It is extremely close to the temple bar area (5 minute walk). The bathrooms and bedrooms are very clean, and it almost feels like staying in a proper hotel, with bunkbeds.

The staff is so nice, the location is perfect (2 minutes from Temple Bar, and close to everything you would want to visit), the bedrooms are clean, and the breakfast (included in the price of the room) is great. Perfect.

i reserved a private room (as always) and in this case it was a big double bed - and 4 bunk beds in the room. (no complains, in other places it was only bunkbeds :) ) so it seemed like the dbl bed was thrown in just for us. the room was fine and reeeally clean but not too much character in it. for only 1 night it's ok anyway. it could use some more strorage space for longer stays though. breakfast is great, there are hard boiled eggs as well not just cereal! wifi worked in the room as well.
