Breakfast was very good and the rooms were clean, although the bathrooms could be better. They should try to keep girls with girls and boys with boys, although it's not a big deal. Our room mate had a though night and our bathroom was left in quite a mess :S Luckily he checked out the next morning :) the location is great and there's a Super Valu right next door. You won't regret your stay here :D

Cool atmosphere, clean, with nice staff and perfect location. The security though was a wee issue.

I loved it here! Free wifi, great location, and free bfast! The bathrooms were clean but kind of rusty and grimy.

Cheap hostel, great staff, tons of people downstairs all the time so there's always someone to talk to. Really good.

My second time staying here and the location is unbeatable. Short walk to Temple Bar and the staff was very helpful for the most part. I will stay here each time I am in Dublin.

I was only in Dublin for 2 nights but the staff were exceptionally helpful, gave fantastic advice, the bed was comfy and the other people I met stayin there friendly. The positioning of the hostel is amazing for access to Temple Bar, cultural sights, restaurants, Grafton St and St Stephens park.

Location is perfect - right on the River & just around the corner from Temple Bar. Not a party hostel if that is what you are looking for, but it makes it a good place to sleep once you get back from the parties outside. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hostel - boiled eggs, fruit & yoghurt. The rooms were a decent size and the beds were comfy. The only thing that really bothered me was the cold showers I had - though I guess it was a good way to wake up out of my hungover states!

Very good location, directly in the city, where you can reach everything by foot. Big rooms with nice people, very helpful staf and a good kitchen. We were there twice on our trip, and if you need a central place to explore Dublin, it is the perfect location.

Facilities and cleanliness were good. Excellent location especially for going out at night. Atmosphere in hostel was decent but it can be made better if you have fun roommates who want to go out.

Pretty standard white walled hostel. Great location is key. Bus stops to airport and other destinations are in close proximity. The hostel is huge which makes it impersonal. Mediocre breakfast but worth the price.

Good location, but I found it hard to meet people in the giant common room. I would give it a shot though!

A bit more cleanliness would do good :). I don't think that ANYBODY would like to see loads of hair that belongs to someone you're not familiar with on the beddings or pillows, or blankets that are provided for your stay. A great thanks to all the stuff, especially Kevin, who was quite well capable to deal with a 'tough' client. :) The hostel is definitely most suitable for the young souls. :) I would recommend Abigail's en suit for everyone who comes to stay in Dublin for a couple of nights.

I found Abigails to be great value for the money. It is in a great location, but not right in the middle of the action. This means that you can go out and have fun, but you can return to a place that is a little quieter than somewhere in the middle of everything. Definitely a social hostel, but not a party hostel. I wouldn't say this is the most fantastic hostel I have ever stayed in, but I also don't have anything bad to say about it. Value was worth more than the money for sure.

We loved Abigail's. Its right in the heart of Dublin. Friendly and super super helpful staff. Huge common area which is awesome. And amazing full breakfast with toast cereal and hardboiled eggs. A lot of other hostels serve plain toast and call it breakfast. Loved Abigail's and perfect for the price.
