We stayed in a room on the side of the street, and the noise levels made it very difficult to have a good rest.

My friend and I thought it'd be cool if there were board games etc in the common area so it would be more lively. Felt like everyone was just reading/on phones in the common area

First time in a hostel. My daughter and I (53 & 22) stayed in a 6 bed and the 10 bed rooms. Both were clean and had an en suite bathroom. Slept on bunk beds with outlets and lights and a little shelf right by your head. VERY convenient for electronics. Staff was great and helpful. Breakfast was cafeteria style: cereal, milk, juice, toast, yogurt, canned peaches and pears in a big bowl, coffee and tea. Location was AWESOME. Temple Bar area was right around the corner. Easy to walk everywhere!

Great location and value. Can be quite a lot of noise from the main road outside, both traffic and pedestrians. Try to get room at the back.

Great hostel! It was a nice stay!

Showers didn't drain, there are no lockers in the room only pay lockers downstairs (quite expensive), the rooms weren't that clean, the staff weren't particularly helpful, and overall it just felt like a place to sleep at night, a hostel should be so much more! Really quite sad since it is in a good location....

Just an overnight layover for an airport transfer, but I had a comfortable & enjoyable stay! I hope to visit Ireland again in the future, so I'll be back!!

Great location for anything you're doing. Great atmosphere and lovely people to be around. Having a kitchen made it easier as you didn't have to go out for food. The lobby area is good for relaxing and socialising, and from the words of the staff 'We encourage drinking' which was great, especially as my stay was based around going out. Would stay here again 100%

Everything in Abigail's hostel was exellent: lokation(!), staffs, breakfast, big room with badroom (for 3 per.). Hostel organizes free tours around the city center(!). I really liked the paintings on the stairwell.

I have stayed in hundreds of hostels worldwide and Abigails was one of my top experiences! It was easy to find with a great location, the staff were friendly on arrival and check in was efficient. Our room was the 12 bed dorm; it was clean, had bathrooms/showers in the room & each bed was equipped with its own light/charger. It was also very quiet considering it was at the front of the building. Breakfast was included in the price which is unusual, the common areas were great. Amazing hostel!

Loved the kitchen access and the open common-room space. No lockers in the rooms was a bit odd. Great location, average cleanliness. A good, relatively cheap option to stay for Dublin.

Overall a decent and cheap hostel. Offers the basics, nothing extra. The blankets and sheets felt dirty. Mine had a giant hairball on it when I got it. Breakfast is good, nothing fancy. Coffee, OJ, toast, canned fruit, yogurt.

The shower has problem, water cannot drainage away while shower, so it is like a pool and don't feel like my foot are clean after shower. First day breakfast, the tray was sticky, bowls, plates were dirty, following days ok. Pillow is too flate like nothing under head. Last night in saw a guy didn't put on bed sheet, duvet cover and pillow cover, wonder the cleanliness.

This is quite a good hostel. Good location, good facilities and very clean. I stayed in a 3 bed dorm on a Tuesday night and found it easy to sleep there and there wasn't much road or outdoor noise. I would stay there again

Very easy to find next to the river. Staff are very nice. This hostel is basic & tidy. I have stayed in much better for less. Could do with an upgrade. Abigails is open 24-7. free tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Nice walk along the river Liffy. Lots of footbridges. Horrendous traffic. Bus stops close by. City tour bus 20E not impressed. lots of road works. Train station only 10 minute walk.. Not impressed city shops R awful & expensive. Behind the main center is drab & dreary the ground is filthy.
