We liked the place, but PLEASE answer phone calls! Especially when your guests cannot enter their room because of a crippled door lock. The kitchen fridge hadn't been cleaned for some time and we didn't use it because it was stinking.

The house was old you could hear everything from other rooms. we saw the owner once so we were alone with other guests all the time. Bathrooms were poor sink was leaking and it was very smalll, and one toilet was broken. it was located in zone 3 of London in I think indian district.

Someone else was in my room, had to move to another house. Sent man in a car to pick me up - he was very pleasant but not ideal situation at night when alone/female, was that or remain alone in the dark in the middle of East London... room was clean and nice, kitchen/bathroom was fine, but no towels provided as said on website and no staff around all weekend to ask. Fire alarm beeped loudly every 30 secs, baby crying... Location was ok, close to District/Hammersmith lines. Wouldn't stay again.

the door was locked with a sticker saying call this number when you arrive,I didn't have a phone as I had just got to the UK, I had to ask a guy on the street if I could use his, called about 6-7 times and no answer, When someone came out I went in to find no staff, a filthy house and all the rooms were full. I asked another guest if I could use their phone, when the lady answered she said she cancelled my booking and sent me an email ... But I never got the email and had to find another hostel.

Staff are amazing, got a great price. Kitchen could use some more pans. Strong Wifi.
