Took my parents to a hostel for the first time in their lives and they loved it. Great breakfast. Rooms clean. Towels changed everyday and a short room clean everyday. Community feel and able to make your own food in the dinning hall. Lots of amazing tours.

It was a great hostel, especially for the price. Room was decent size, and had an in-suite bathroom which was nice. Great breakfast and lounge area. Free internet was also great. About 20 min walk from the old city, but you just have to walk down the main road and you are there. Best hostel in Israel for a reason.

Very close to machane yehuda market... buy your own ingredients and use the hostel kitchen to cook a meal for a change. Abraham hostel is right in the middle of west jerusalem, very convenient, right on the tram line. Very convivial atmosphere, people from all over the world, very clean (a little noisy with city traffic sounds, bring ear plugs if that bothers you).

Beside the a noisy door at our Dorm and loud guest sitting on the entrance stairs at night it was a very pleasant stay.Much better than all the other hostels I stood in .Facilities like a 4 star hotel, like TV restroom, internet room, big room with a bar, chill out hammocks ,billiard ,kitchen and lunchroom.

The staff was really friendly and polite -- that's usually one of the most important thing to me when I stay somewhere and I really appreciated it!

It's hard to find negatives about this hostel. We stayed here for 4 nights and even came back for another night. Ideally located in the modern part of city: market, bars, restaurants and shops. Staff was excellent and professional. Common room and atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. The hostel really makes an effort to get people together. Rooms are almost a mini-studio, only minor thing is that they are not that isolated. Breakfast was good. It might be pricey (for a hostel), but worth it.

We loved the tours - free tour of the old city of Jerusalem - the hostel staff led us to the tour and was friendly and talkative. We also loved the mix of people - all ages, from all over, diverse backgrounds. Fun and perfect for us - a mother and young adult daughter on vacation.

This has to be one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The staff were friendly and helpful, the Abraham Tours desk also very helpful (she gave me info on Bethlehem even though I wasn't going through them). The best part of my stay was the communal Shabbat dinner which is a must if you are there on a Friday. Relaxed atmosphere, great bar area, good happy hour deals and good breakfast. It's a 10 min walk to the old city, but the tram is just round the corner if you can't face the walk.

Thanks so much!!
