I have been many times to Jerusalem and usually stayed in one of the arab hostels in the old city or near Jaffa Gate. Teh Abraham Hostel is much cleaner and not as noisy as the other hostels near the old city. Still I think it is overprized to pay 19 Euro for a 10 ppl mixed dorm or 90 Euro for a double bed. For breakfast they should serve normal coffee with no extra charge and maybe something Israeli. tl/dr: very clean, not very noisy, but expensive.

Jerusalem is the second best hostel I have encountered on my annual vacation. Very clean, professional, friendly atmosphere; offering more than enough. Location is good close to market. I strongly recommend to travellers, except direction to hostel is not clear enough on where to get the tram, & there is no existing sherut from airport.

It is in a great location. Right next to a market to get food and a short walk to the old city. Everyone there was really friendly and the staff was willing to help with anything.

Awesome place. Great atmosphere, including tours and events if you fancy. 20 walk to the old city, and right next to a 24 convenience store. Pretty big for a hostel.

An excellent hostel, staff at front desk were unusually kind and willing to help, the hostel is huge and has an amazing amount of space to chill in. Rooms were big, not crowded together.

Although the breakfasts were good they could have become a little repetative had I stayed any longer. There are probably economies of scale at play which means that they could have been a little more varied. Although I did not participate, the Shabbat meal looked to be good value for money. Also the bar came in useful when all else seemed to be closed.

A vibrant, lively, clean and practical hostel. The facilities provided are very traveler friendly. A very warm and friendly staff who are ready to help and provide practical suggestions / directions. A clean and hygienic environment. Above all, a very happening and lively atmosphere in the evenings.. gr8 to unwind. Strongly recommended for all types of travelers.

We really enjoyed your hostel and especially appreciated how welcoming you were for our baby daughter. One thing, though: as we checked out, the woman behind the desk, Sara, rather rudely informed us that "the system" showed we owed NIS 7 for an internet card. We didn't get a single internet card, so it was a mistake, but Sara insisted that we pay. We had just spent nearly a thousand dollars at your hostel, why would we lie about NIS 7? That was pretty poor costumer service.

We travelled as a family of 4 with our 2 grownup children who had already seen quite a number of hostels. However, we all enjoyed our stay at Abraham Hostel, especially the shabbat dinner. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

The staff were super helpful. I bothered them all the time for travel info and for calling the bus people. Super nice and always willing to help. I also had to change my plans in the middle of my planned week there and needed to stay two nights in Eilat. They gave me my money back for the two days and let me keep my bags in the storage room for that time as well. I can only recommend this hostel.
