Loved the convenient location of the hostel - short walk to the Old City, Mamila and Mahane Yehuda market! Big rooms with comfy duvets. Good security with the provision of lockers in the dorms. Cool lounge to hang out in!

This is a good choice in a great location -- walking distance to the old city, with the comforts of not being in the old city, and with great places (like the mehane yehuda market) close by. The hostel has plenty of young people, but also a good contingent of older people and even toddlers that give it a nice family vibe. Upstairs hangout area is large and well-equipped and free breakfast is tasty.

Great location, generous buffet breakfast, free tea and coffee, friendly staff - exellent value! The video exlaining how to reach the hostel from the airport was very helpful and I also appreciated that as a pair of middle-aged queens my partner and I felt both welcome and safe - thank you Abraham Hostel!

Abraham Hostel was Outstanding!! Clean, Spacious, Comfortable, Safe and Fun!! Stayed there with my 15 and 19 year old children and we all had plenty to do and socializing. Second floor space for food, drinks, reading and lounge space, games and TV was great way to meet others or just hang out and read in a public space. Highly recommend! Best value and experience!

This place had lots of everything you need: computers, wifi, showers, common space, nice breakfast, AND daily activities and tour agency right inside! Very good for someone who didn't prep their trip much =)

First, Abraham needs to improve their directions. Add many more details and have them written by someone who isn't a local. It's a great hostel set-up, like the Wombats group in Germany, but it attracts a huge-group, older crowd. Over 75% were over 60 years old while I was there. This got a little bit better on weekends. Staff seemed awesome, but was detached, so it wasn't really possible to hang with them, which was a bummer.

Great place, very nice and new and clean. Staff is super-friendly. Does have a bit of a college dorm vibe to it, since it's pretty big and busy, but overall a very comfortable and friendly place to stay. Only criticism I have is that access to the luggage storage room seems a bit less secure than it ought to be (but they do warn you against putting any valuables in there).

The facilities are excellent and the tour/information desk is really good. It's on the subway line and only 15min walk to the old city. Breakfast is good and the rooms are clean. Would recommend it. The only thing I'd change is to have the staff smile a little more.

Thank You for arranging me a room for me and my two kids to come to your hostel. It really was a wonderful experience and IN SO GOOD PLACE NEAR THE JAFFA STREET. AND for me at your hostel happened that I got the room with number 12 on it and I woke up in that room hearing in my spirit words IT IS TIME FOR THE TWELVE TRIBES TO COME BACK TO ISRAEL, HELP THEM in every way, be beside them and help them to come. SO IT REALLY WAS AN MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCE AT YOUR HOSTEL, THANK YOU!LOVE!AHAVA!

The rooms, showers and toilets are very clean, the kitchen is not always but it's the people's fault, some of them don't wash up or throw the rests of their meal in the sink instead of using household paper. There is a big difference in comfort between the six-bed dormitories and the eight-bed ones, too little space for a slight difference of price. Choose the 6-bed room if you can. Staff is friendly and always ready to help.

Very clinical lighting and lacking in any real atmosphere. It was full of people which made it relatively easy to meet others but the hostel itself does look slightly like a hospital. Very clean and secure though with a central location.

This place is big and although it has all the facilites you'd want from a hostel, the size does make it slightly impersonal compared to other more homely places I've known. Other than that it's difficult to find any fault with the place. The breakfast is ok (the muesli's slightly toooo sugary though ....) Internet is ok, with 4 choices of routers. I'll end on a piece of pedantry: Child sacrifier Abe wasn't the first backpacker, Gilgamesh was. The Babylonian texts are older than the Hebrew ones.
