Alfama Patio Hostel is steeped in history, situated in the oldest district of Lisbon, centrally located, easy on the pocket, and guaranteed to make you feel at home. Lisbon started here ;-)
Alfama district is a pearl to be discovered...
...the labyrinth of streets, harking back to its rich Islamic heritage...
...some of the most visited monuments are at walking distance.
...and even today, as in the past: white clothes hanging at the windows to dry, colourful flowers, legendary yellow trams winding up its narrow streets.
Our Hostel have a private grass courtyard with barbecue, hammocks, and terrace with a stunning view over Alfama district, the Tagus River, and the S. Vicente de Fora Church and Monastery.
We are a small hostel with the atmosphere very familiar and friendly. You will feel home immediately.
Though we like to have fun, we are not manly party hostel.
Our aim is to provide a quiet and relaxed atmosphere in the hostel, so if you'd like to party after 0.00h, it is possible to go to the clubs and bars nearby. Never-the-less we have an extend program to give you opportunities to have fun and meet people:
On Saturdays we have our World famous Barbecue Party with live Dj, On Mondays the open air cinema on the Terrace, On Wednesdays is Latino night Party, with Mojitos and Djs, Thrusdays we have free Fado tour, and Friday free Pubcrawl tour.

For smokers we have our Patio or the great Sunny Terrace.
