The staff here were extremely friendly and the location is great - a short walk to Temple Bar area. However, I booked here for a few euros more per night so my 3 friends and I could be in the same room - but we had to be split up the first night. There was a huge puddle outside our bathroom that did not dry and it smelled strongly of mildew. There is no housekeeping so you need to bring back the bed linens. I guess the above is common in most hostels, but I've paid less for better facilities.

Good location, spacious rooms. Small common area. Basic hostel but good value for the low prices.

Lucky the staff attended us very good and helpful but I can observed a moment some other staff were not that good attending the on coming travellers. no smiling or welcome faces at all.

3rd time at Abraham's with a group of students . I used to love the place but this year our food was constantly stolen from cupboards and fridges. Hard luck when you have to cook for 20 people. A coat disappeared from a bedroom too. Life must be getting harder in Dublin. The staff at the desk is extremely helpful and always very friendly. Rather noise on Friday night.

the washbasin is in the dormitory (for 12 people), so you have to wash yourself while 11 people are watching. the walls are very thin, so during the night you can hear everyone speaking in the staircase. guests in the dormitory were respectless and very loud all night long. only 1 very small shower room for 12 people (without washbasin, washbasin is in the dormitory). there is no possibility to lock the luggage in a drawer under the bed. all in all, hostel is loud and mainly for party people

Bathroom... OMG... it has its high time about 50 years ago. No exaggerating. And breakfast? Jam, yogurt, toasts and hard boiled egg... what cuisine was it? Seriously, if the staff was not so absolutely great and nice and helpful... Im moving out after first night.

It was like being in a rabbit warren, room was at the end of the building Breakfast was inadequate and the staff treated me like a child, they were very inflexible about the last night which I paid for and couldn't stay in due to my flight leaving the following morning. The staff seemed to think it was my job to bring down dirty linen too.Not impressive!

Security was good, all night reception was good. The beds had headboards with reading lights and you could plug a USB right into it. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, very tiny and covered in mould and you could hardly breathe in it.

The bathrooms were very poorly equipped and tiny. There was mould around the window and the shower. The water in the shower was boiling hot, whether you turned it on hot or cold. Impossible to have a shower in the end...

This has been one of the best hostels I have gone to yet! It was clean, well managed and very large! I wished there were places to lock my things though. However, the rooms and beds were fantastic! I always had a place to charge my things and the bed lamp was a very nice touch!

The bathroom was dirty, but the staff were friendly and helpful, and the beds had charging stations, which was really convenient. It was also easy to find and close to the rest of the city.
