I think I've already answered to this about one or two months ago, but Ok then! I will simply say that besides not being fully satisfied with our rooms which were either a bit smelly or had a dripping faucet in one of them, we liked the atmosphere of the hotel in general and really appreciated the nice, friendly service we got from the staff at the reception and even more so the breakfast bufé which was simply outstanding!

The Absalon annex was a preference we made over other hotels in the Copenhagen urban area due to its perfect location just five minutes walk away from the main train station but also for its relatively low price in comparison to what you get in this city in general. But we were also very pleased with the staff as well as with the luxurious breakfast buffé. Our rooms weren't exactly top notch but OK (with shared toilet) while the surroundings manifest a part of the city's green light district.

Very basic hostel. No character, tiny rooms, old furniture. But it was OK, clean enough and well located. And the breakfast is indeed awesome. Our big problem though was that we clearly booked a double bed and got twin beds, and they wouldn't do anything to change that.

The hotel room was ridiculously outdated with a tv and telephone dating straight back to the beginning of the 1980's. The socket kept falling apart and so did the volume on the mini-tv; you could only watch the tv really loud or not at all. Walls are very thin and during the first night I kept first waking up to people closing their room doors and to drunken people yelling and singing. The breakfast was ok and location is very good, but I expected a little more from the room itself.

Should change towels everyday, or at least notify how to request towel change (leave towels on the table, sink...)

The Location is fantastic, just 2 min from the Main station. If you Want to get any Sleep you should bring ears- the hotel has thin Walls and People are coming Home from partying all Night long - even on a thursday. Breakfast ist Really good and the Bikes to Rent well maintained. Overall: what you get for your Money is absolutely fine!

When we reach our hotel, it smelled like pee but our room was clean and confortable. The staff at the hotel was nice and helpful apart from one guy who didn't bother to to greet us. It's very close the the train station therefore close to the airport (15 minutes by train) but the street right next to the hotel is quite seamy with drug addicts and prostitutes. One guy followed us all the way to the train station. Not a place to wander alone at night. Otherwise indeed really great breakfast.

Good location close to the train station, room was small and the twin beds were quite small also. There isn't much room if you have a lot of luggage. The hotel is clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast which is included, was excellent. I would stay there again.

A rich scandinavian breakfast. A location near the train station and the Tivoli amusement park. In short, to be recommended despite the aging decor of the rooms.

Covenient location by train station. An older hotel-hostel but good staff and clean. Terrific (and free) breakfast with lots of bread, chesse, cereal, meat, annd drinks. Free internet on lobby computer was great with only a short wait for the computer.
