The hostel is in a fantastic position. Unfortunately my mattress was very uncomfortable. Also I had Selected this hostel because it boasted double glazed windows that keep the noise from the street out. I had a room with a window onto the park and I could hear very clearly and loudly everything that was going on outside all through the night. I was nice to have an ensuite bathroom and the tv room is very nice.

Really nice hostel, the only thing is that the kitchen is pretty small.

Great location! Also, the staff was very friendly and the rooms were very up to date. All the rooms looked very clean. Nice social areas too. I would definitely stay there again. There is a decent kitchen too with free coffee and tea.

Location is perfect. Had a private room with a private bath. Everything was clean and the staff were really helpful in figuring out what ever I asked about.

Very laid back environment, and were able to switch into same room as friends. it was a great stay. went to other hostels while we were there to visit friends and were happy to say we were staying at absoloot rather than the others!

The hostel was great, it was definitely worth the money. The bathrooms are located in your room which is sweet. The staff cares about the cleanlieness of the place, and the location is unbeatable. We had incredible views from our room. If you're looking for a super chill place to stay, this is it. And you get great discounts at the World Bar!

Awesome stay, rooms are so comfortable, private bathroom for each, kitchen could be little bit better but still not bad at all, location couldn't be better, 1mn to the lake, 1mn to the bars. Staff friendly and finally good, free and unlimited Wi-Fi ! Stay there is a good choice !

We booked a double private with on suite and although this is a hostel the standard of the room was better than some hotels we have stayed at.. The place was very clean & tidy. The guy on the reception desk was extremely friendly & helpful & the location was brilliant. The only negative comment is that they say they have free parking, this is actually free street parking 2 blocks away, although we managed to get a space and after 7pm you can park in the loading bay outside until 8.30am.

This was by far the best hostel I stayed at in New Zealand. The beds, even in the dorm rooms, made me feel like I was in a hotel. They kitchen was small, but manageable. The staff was very friendly, especially Gus! The location is right in the heart of downtown and right by the lake. There was lockers in the rooms and a small fridge as well! The common room upstairs and in the lobby made for great places for meeting people.

More like a hotel than a hostel. Fresh towels etc. I even had a double bed!. Very clean hostel and our 4-bed dorm had it's own bathroom and toilet and TV. Good facilities and free Wi-Fi. Staff very friendly. Just be aware that the TV room and kitchen are closed at 10pm to keep it quiet for guests. I think perhaps 11pm would be more appropriate, but I still appreciate the thought.

Loved this hostel, right in the centre of town, minutes away from food court, shops, nightclubs and activity places, cleaners came in every day, and internet was free, not limited. Laundry next door had easy access. Some bottom bunk beds were even double, which was a nice surprise. Would definitely recommend to others.

Really good Hostel, still feels really new. Free wifi. In the middle of Queenstown, so it's not the quietest place - but it's as good as it gets in the heart of Queenstown.
