Good hostel, pretty clean and close to the city centre as well. Dorm wasn't too small and the bunks had double bottom beds. It really is a party hostel (probably like every hostel in Queenstown), so that's a big plus if you like that. Lounge/TV room was nice. However, the reception area was used as common area as well, which made it all seem a bit messy as a first impression and upon check-in. And the bunks were out of metal, so they did make some noise every time someone turned around.

I cannot recommend this hostel enough! Great facilities, fab staff, awesome views from the kitchen, and the best bathrooms in any hostel I've stayed in! Lots of great people staying there too.

Great place to stay, stayed there last time I went to Queenstown and would definitely stay there again. The one negative comment I have is that while wifi access on your phone etc. is free, you have to pay to use the computers which is annoying if you didn't bring your laptop.

Amazing hostel!! We had an awesome 4-bed dorm (2 of the beds were doubles at no extra cost!) with ensuite and beautiful view over the lake and mountains - absoloot luxury!!! The view from the kitchen is stunning and the staff are super friendly and helpful!

Everything was great, except the WiFi is quite slow and unreliable.

Rooms nice and warm, shower pressure and temperature - excellent, had those metal bunk beds which normally mean squeaking but these ones didn't :-), actual space in the fridge without having to ram your stuff in, spotlessly clean, power supplies next to your bed, free towels, doors which open and close quietly, it's all the little differences which add up to make a great stay. could do with a better social area, hanging around reception was a bit awkward and didn't persuade people to mingle.

One of the more hotel-like hostels I've stayed in. The only downside was the spotting internet but everything else was excellent.

The wifi is on and off, very slow sometimes. Another inconvenience is to log in again every single time turning the wifi on.

Rooms are big enough and mostly come with bathrooms ensuite, main bathroom is pretty good as well, recently opened tv room is really cosy, but what makes this hostel so special is the breathtaking lake view out of the kitchen and the amazing staff! If you want a reasonably priced quiet and central hostel with a staff that makes you feel welcome go to absoloot!

Great hostel located in the heart of Queenstown. Everything is located within close proximity, no need for a car just walk everywhere. Staff were very helpful and rooms were A++

Really enjoyed this hostel. Ensuite bathrooms in dorms were great. Kitchen has a beautiful view but is too small, gets really crowded around dinner. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Only complaints would hopefully not be an issue anymore, such as construction starting early in the a.m. just below our window, and the lack of a book exchange since the TV room was still under construction. Otherwise, brilliant stay, would return.

Sweet hostel! Great views from the kitchen. Just a shame they're currently renovating so there's no social room...

Great place to stay! With new renovations this place is awesome. Beds are new and comfortable, bathrooms are all new and always clean. The kitchen is awesome with a wicked view of the lake. Staff are all super chill, and the location literally can't be beat being right in the center of Queenstown. They are working on the new common area which at this moment there isn't really one, but once finished, this hostel really has it all!

Possibly the best location you could get in Queenstown, million dollar views from the (well equipped) kitchen, free wifi was just ok in the room (dropped in and out from staying on the 2nd floor), seemed better in common areas. The hot water in the shower was very low pressure and took a few minutes to start running. little bit noisy but that was mostly just other guests. bunks were a bit squeaky could maybe do with hardware being tightened up. staff were good. Overall was great value for money.

Our stay was amazing. Love this place. They clean the rooms and bathrooms everyday. Great location and friendly staff.

Staff were really cool and nice, room was clean and nice. But it's more like a hotel and kitchen is tiny and no windows. Social area is always full of the long term stayers who were super annoying

Good location, unlimited wifi, but kitchen was too small
