Positive: Awesome location in the middle of the town! Nice and helpful staff. Free towels, free Wifi, free ear plugs!! Great launge und nice atmosphere, own bathroom in dorm bed rooms :) Negative: Low shower pressure and small kitchen. We would recommend it, best hostel in Queenstown! :))

AVA was surprisingly quiet for it's prime beach front location. Everyone staying there was respectful of the kitchen- kept it clean and organized! Really great that you got a towel instead of using your own. Only downside is that you havere-log into the wifi each time you want to use it! Great value overall!

The location is great, clean bathrooms. The kitchen is small and it gets busy very often. Nice staff.

Really nice location by the water, staff are super sweet and all seem to get on really well. Wifi is not great (but ok). Kitchen is a bit small. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Would recommend.

Generally, convenient place to stay. The upper bunk bed in the room we stayed were facing just inches below the air cond which is very inconvenient and uncomfortable with it blowing intermittent cold/hot air directly during sleep. Brought matter up to staff, but were told we have no choice due to fully booked. Suggest management to look into alternate suitable arrangement for bunk beds.

Nice rooms, perfect location but kitchen is ways too small!

Very central location in Queenstown. The common areas are closed at 10pm.

It is a perfect place to stay after a hike. They have a kitchen, and the the facilities are good. However it might be really noisy in late hours

Blown away by the facilities! Thought is accidentally booked us into a more expensive suite but it turns out all the dorms are so clean. 4 bed dorm had its own bathroom and a mini fridge. Lounge area was nice and the kitchen kept well cleaned. Phenomenal hostel. Just note that many of the male workers have games to see how many girls they can sleep with. I know some enjoy that part of travel but this is the 1st time it's been so obvious during my stay.

Quite tiny kitchen with narrow paths and the volume from the street was quite high even when both window layers were closed. Otherwise not much to say, good hostel with clean rooms and good location.

We had 1 night there, and had to get in at midnight. They were very accommodating and gave us proper instructions to check in after hours.

Too small kitchen, and poor opening hours (7am-10pm). Not enough common areas and it all closes at 10. Doorm was tiny. Location is excellent and nice people around.

Super fun atmosphere! Every night everyone hangs out in the common room/tv room to drink and then go out together. Really makes for an awesome community!

Nice hostel. Very up beat and in the middle of town. Little noisy at night from street traffic and kitchen is too small, but well stocked with spices and the only one I've been in that offered cling wrap, which was nice. Lounge a little hidden but comfortable.

Very clean, big rooms. The street noise is a little loud but with earplugs it's fine. The best wifi in all of NZ!

Great stay. Definitely one of the top hostels in Queenstown.

This should be the top hostel in Queenstown, I tried the other "top" and because of the newness of this place, it's only a matter of time before they become #1.

Awesome hostel . Everything you need . Central location in town , small kitchen but everything you need is in there. Staff very friendly . The hostel is cleaned Dailey so it's always clean and tidy .

I really enjoyed my time here. It is so central in Queenstown and the staff are excellent at helping booking trips and recommendations. The kitchen is quite small for the amount of people staying but it's not a huge deal. The place is extremely clean and rooms are excellent with amazing views of Queenstown. Even a TV in the room if you want a quiet day in. Highly recommend this place and will stay again if I go back to Queenstown.

The lounge closes really early which is upsetting. Got stuck in a room with 5 guys who were on long-term stay, did not really mesh with my travel plans. Better organization of rooms would have made my stay better. The location cannot be beat! More activities and social outings organized would make this place even better. Kitchen is small and crowded but offers all amenities.
