The hostel is located very close to the greyhound bus stop and 5mins walk from woolworths which was quite handy. Kitchen facilities were great. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm which was rather disappointing. On arrival the room was dirty and my bed had not even been made. It had poor ventilation so youd sleep in your sweat. There is only 1 toilet block onsite which was a complete joke having to walk in the pitch black at night as it was at the other end of the hostel. I wouldn't recommend here.

Stayed here for 3 nights, we originally booked to stay 4 nights but we cancelled the last night due to how disappointed we were. We arrived at 8:20pm and the reception was shut (nobody was there even when it was open), some guy handed us a key although our booking was not on their records. The majority of people staying at the hostel all worked there so it did not have a good atmosphere. The buses ran at really awkward times, and due to the town not being very active we got bored easily.

Wish I'd only stayed here one night, mostly due to there not being much to do in Mission Beach itself. The hostel was fine, clean and the beds were comfortable. However there was no atmosphere, most of the people staying there were the staff. If you're going to Mission Beach to do the skydive then it's a nice place to stay.

Arrived and greeted by two staff members at the Greyhound drop off just around the corner. Checked in easily as per and shown to our room which was a little grim - very dusty fan and floor a bit dirty. Virtually no interaction from staff with guests so no social aspect whatsoever - staff just talk and drink among themselves on the table/chairs at night. Shuttle bus operates but be careful as they forgot to pick us up at 7:30 at night which meant we had to walk over an hour in pitch black. Glum.

Really nice little hostel - got a free upgrade to a nicer room. V friendly staff, very invested in the guests. Free BBQ when we arrived on Sunday! Movie nights w/ free popcorn. Nice pool, clean and spacious rooms. Lockers but have to pay for them. Rooms are lockable though. Close to the beach and woolies, shuttle bus into 'town' provided. Wifi is absolutely dreadful. Girls bathrooms were really clean but the boys not so much and a bit smelly. Kitchen decent size but not very well organised.

It was okay. Only there for a night, which did not really give me time to judge the atmosphere. The security isn't stringent and there's virtually no AC, which isn't necessarily a problem, up to you. It's close to the Greyhound bus stop, so quite convenient if you want to split the trip.

I loved this hostel. The staff are nice, the location is perfect and the town is my favorite. The hostel has great Wi-Fi and good property and landscaping. The rooms and kitchen are very clean. Honestly, I love the town and the relaxed atmosphere so much that it would take a lot for be not to love this hostel :) hope to come back to work there soon!
