Great location. Right by plaza republique - the dividing line between the 10th and the 3rd. Tons of restaurants and bars nearby. 5 min walk to Oberkampf street. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. No real common area. Room was fine and bed was fine. No complaints.

Very nice, clean hostel (felt more like a hotel) with friendly, helpful staff in an excellent location. Bars/cafes/restaurants on your doorstep and just a couple of minutes walk to nearest metro station. Good breakfast included. The lack of any common area may make it difficult for anyone travelling alone to meet others, but perfect place for a girls weekend away etc!

This hostel is not horrible but not great. It is lacking security. There are no lockers in the room; there are lockers downstairs, but they are extremely small. I found that the room got very hot at night. The shower, however, never seemed to get hot. It was definitely a struggle to take a cold shower after being outside all day in freezing weather. The staff was nice and the breakfast was average, but I think the hostel was too expensive for what it provided.

hostel was pretty good, staff was very helpful but the shower curtains smelled like mildew!

Clear directions to the hostel for international travellers would be great as it was hard initially finding the place

Quite expensive for what you get as the rooms and ensuite were quite cramped and the staff didn't seem that interested in us. The plug sockets were hanging off the wall with wires exposed which wasn't very safe. However it is in an excellent location, close to lots of nice local restaurants and bars, and breakfast is provided. It did the job, but I probably wouldn't stay there again.

The breakfast was awesome with croissant and baguette everyday! The bathroom was nice, clean, and big. The rooms were very Parisian and the staff were so nice and helpful! Also the cheapest hostel I could find for 3 nights in Paris! Would recommend 1000 times...a great place to stay! Also right near the republique metro station

Really nice staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. Would have been nice to have lockers in the dorm rooms (something big enough for a laptop), but there were small, free combination safes in the lobby. The location is good - close to a main metro station and felt pretty safe. It's a bit expensive for a hostel, but if you want a cheap hotel the private double room is really good value for money.

Very nice hostel. I just missed a common room besides a kitchen but other than that it was everything you wish from a hostel.

POSITIVE: very good location in the north of Marais. nice staff. good & clean room and bathroom. quiet (if you have the luck of facing the backyard - otherwise there could be street noise). very comfortable bed. NEGATIVE: the breakfast is so-so. the kitchen and breakfast area is way too warm and stuffy.

Not much of an atmosphere at all, but serviceable, and in a good location.

We were really surprised that the rooms were not cleaned up (lots of hairs in bed, in the bathroom and on the floor, chewing-gums on the floor, teethpaste on the mirrors, blood on towels and mould in the bathroom and lots more). It was unbelievable and we didn't feel really comfortable, because the aspect that we paied 80€ for such creepy rooms, that's absolutely not fair!!!! We tried to Talk to somebody but his excusion was " I am not responsable for cleaning the rooms"! Unbelievable!

The location isn't the best but most places in Paris aren't as the sites are so spread out, having a main metro line 5 minutes away was nice. I stayed in 2 different rooms and both were very nice and clean

The room was OK but the bathroom was strange as it didn't have any curtain or glass wall at the shower, so the water splashed out, soaking all over the bathroom when showering.

Staying in the hostel was very nice. The wifi works in every place around the hostel which is a great thing. The breakfast was very nice, though not so healthy and without any alternatives. Another minus was that the rooms were very small And we bearly had place for our luggage. The shower room got flooded every time we used it, but luckily, the staff mubed it for us. But despite different disadvantages, we liked staing at the hostel due to the nice staff, the great location and the facilities
