Very hard to find. Even the cab driver had a hard time finding it.

Enjoyed our stay. Room clean. Breakfast good. Location by Republique train station really handy. We were on the 5th floor and the ceilings were very low, otherwise no major issues. Shower hot, required continual button pressing to keep water flow going.

Was in a 4 bed dorm, only spent 1 night and got bitten by bed bugs on face and neck. Has no real common area to meet other travelers so I wouldn't recommend for solo travelers. The breakfast was really good and had a good variety.

I stayed in a double en-suite, which could have used a fresh paint job and a new mattress. I did peek into one of the dorms and it looked nicer. However, the staff were friendly, the location was unbeatable (near the Canal St-Germain, with a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower from my window, and just minutes from the Republique Metro stop), and breakfast was sufficient and included in the cost. The room also had recently had a new bathroom installed, which was very nice.

One of the descent hostels you will find in Paris for an average price. So overall, it was a good choice.

Nice and honest staff, standard breakfast, very good Wi Fi, nearby many inexpensive restaurants and grocery, near Metro, directions somewhat confusing, everything is simple.

Hostel was quite a basic, room for 6 people was quite small, but bathroom was renovated and clean. Breakfast was good, but the location wasn't the best in Paris, but luckily it was near the metro.

Staff in the breakfast room could be more pleasant. It's not nice to see sour faces first thing in the morning. They wouldn't smile/ speak to you properly no matter how much I smiled. Plus one morning the lady refused me milk for my tea claiming it was 'finished' just because it was 5 mins to closing time. I mean seriously....

Was charged twice my stay, charged my card twice. They said they would return the money, but so far not given me any satisfaction, I sent an email to bonjour@absolute-paris.com and not gave me answer. I thought the French had more credibility, not recomento this hostel to anyone

I had some very helpful staff. I had to call and tell them I wasn't going to make my check-in reservation until the next day, and the reschedule was quick and easy.

The rooms are good and clean. I went with my family, we were 4, and it was enough for us. The bathroom was good and it had hot water. The breakfast was good.

Improve the shower, it really doesn't fit women needs.

It was a really cozy place to stay at, and it was very cheap, so u get what u paid for i guess, the bathroom was though really cleaned, but the room was very small but u will survive ;) i guess they are renovating the whole place, as its looks nice from outside the buidling, and u get a nice breakfast included so its great :)

Staff is always smiling, willing to help out and speak at least a little bit of several languages. Breakfast is cereal, bread, coffee, etc. Not nutritious, but very filling and a good backpacker's diet! My room was clean but got stuffy quickly if the window was closed (and cold when it was open). Biggest con is that there are no lockers in the room, so you need to trust others or bring locks. Also not in the nicest location, but close to a major Metro station, making it easy to get anywhere.

I arrived at the hostel at 10am and the staffs are kindly enough to speed up the set up of my room so I can check-in at 12.30pm instead of 2pm. I used the waiting time to get some rest in the lobby. the room and bathroom was small but enough for me and my husband (we're quite slim). the reception ladies (sorry I don't remember their names) are really helpful when I asked few questions about some places in Paris. It's very close to Republique metro station, easy to go anywhere I want.
