Felt extremely welcome, even as a group of lads on a stag do.

Great location, however you need to get a taxi to the hostal as its too far to walk. Very modern hostal and comfy beds. Good kitchen facilities and lounge area, but it's small. Clean rooms and bathrooms and free wifi. The only thing that let me down as there were no clothes washing facilities as it seems to be impossible to find a laundrymatt - staff gave me directions to a dry cleaners- which is totally different! Very friendly staff to help and assist you. I would stay again

Well, hostel is in a very good location. However... it was very noisy after 22.00. I couldn't sleep. The staff did not react. After my first night I was thinking about changing hostel....

Hostel was ok but some of the beds in our room appeared slept in even though we were the only ones in the room and the shower had no hot water in the morning. Plus the atomsphere wasn't too friendly. But still for £6 you can't really complain.

Thanks to the staff of Absynt Hostel for being so friendly and accommodating to us. We appreciated it very much. Please keep it up. Thanks again and more power. :)

Lovely rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The information on arrival (maps and info on tours) was really good and saved us from wasting time finding our feet.

the location is really good, walking distance to the main square. The rooms are just fine. When I was there, there was an obvious problem with hot water in the shower - when I had a shower it was a quickie, the water was rather cool, but for 1 night that was no big deal.

the windows don't absorb the noise from the street, it feels like lying there with open windows.

Dull, No hot water, Lights automatically turn off when you're in the shower!

We were given the wrong room from the start which we told the staff about immediately but there were no other rooms left. The room was very unclean with pubic hairs on the bed and covers. The room was filled with cigarette smoke and this is all we could smell. There was loud music playing until 4 in the morning which meant that we could not get to sleep. The next morning we requested our money back and booked into a hotel further up the road.

We thought it was a great Hostel, very clean and well maintained, it was also very central and we always felt very safe.

Just GREAT! it's completely brand new, all is brand new: furniture, beds, everything! There is a fantastic good smell inside (wood, because of the new furniture). WiFi is perfect even from the rooms, 2 pc in the common area. I will stay there again for sure!
