The room with the double bed smelled not so nice since it was very humid. We had to sleep with open windows.
I enjoyed my stay at the Acacia House. It is a lovely house in a neighborhood that felt very safe and was quiet. It had a small kitchen but fully equipped. This was handy because food is very expensive in Denmark so buying from a store and making our own meals helped a lot. I gave it an "excellent" for location because we could leave our car and take one bus to the city. It is about a 25 minute ride which may be too long for some people but worked out fabulously for us. Hans and Lucia are sweet.
Had such a lovely time here! Felt just like home and Lucia and Hans were so warm and welcoming.
This Hostel is amazing! Very clean, small, comfy and the staff were so kind with us! I totally recommend this hostel for everyone! Just one important point: it will be better if you go there by car, because the hostel is quite far from Copenhaga downtown, and the public transport is expensive and the bus stop is not so near of the hostel!!
Acacia House is a very welcoming, clean and relaxing B&B! The people who run the B&B, Lucia and Hans are extremely lovely people who are fantastic hosts. The security of the room is good with the bedroom lockable from the outside. The location of 'Herlev' on Zealand island is good too. It's about 30 minute bus/train journey into central Copenhagen. The breakfast option is fantastic, excellent food! The lunch option is also good, with a selection of 'picnic' foods. Value for money is outstanding!
