Directions to Academica Summer Hostel

Map & directions

From the airport:
a) Take a yellow line airport taxi to our hostel (1-4 persons eur 20)
b) Take Finnair airport bus (eur 5.20 per person) to the central railway station
c) Take a regional transport bus 615 (eur 3.60 per person) to the central railway station

From the central railway station:
a) Take tram number 3T (one way ticket eur 2.00 but if you already have a ticket for regional transport bus from the airport, you can use the same ticket within next 1 hour) from Main Railway Station. Our tram stop is called Kauppakorkeakoulu-The School of Economics. The tram turns to the right but keep on walking straight ahead. Turn left to the street called Lapuankatu and go straight ahead so you reach our street, Hietaniemenkatu. Hostel Academica is on your right.

b) Take a metro from Central railway station to Kamppi (eur 2.00). Take the exit on Runeberginkatu-side and turn right. Hietaniemenkatu is soon on your left. Walk down the street and hostel Academica is on your left side, just before Mechelininkatu crossing.

From Katajanokka terminal:
Take tram number 2 or 4 to Aleksanterinkatu, tramstop in front of department store SOKOS. Walk to the Kaivokatu and change to tram number 3T. Our tramstop is called Kauppakorkeakoulu-The School of Economics. The tram turns to the right but keep on walking straight ahead. Turn left to the street called Lapuankatu and go straight ahead so you reach our street, Hietaniemenkatu. Hostel Academica is on your right.
