This is a wonderful hostel! The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the rooms and bathrooms (mine was an ensuite) are clean and comfortable with AC. There is a locker (lock included) in the room as well as a tall nightstand for additional storage right next tot the bed, which was very convenient. Great location and cute aperitif in the evenings! Would recommend!

Dennis and Theresa were very helpful when checking in ,useful tips on advance tickets , where to eat and visit etc .nice to have a little get together at 6.30 for newcomers , helps to break the ice .

Stay was great - staff were very helpful! It's a quiet hostel and they ask that if you're going to be rowdy to go downstairs on the street or to some of the bars. It's very clean and has air con. Was a great stay and so nice to have an ensuite. I stayed in a room with three other people and there were partitions between the beds so you don't have to see other people sleeping!

Need some plain toast bread for breakfast.

Perfect for our family of four. No frills but all you need - a cool, spacious room with comfortable beds. Excellent all round - I would recommend this hostel to anyone and it is only a few metres from the Duomo! Sue. Taunton, England.

Great clean hostel. Awesome location. Little bit pricey but alright. Breakfast is what it says it is, simple. Great that they put on a little food and wine each night. Would recommend to someone who wanted to get as close to a hotel without paying for one. Internet was poor in specific areas and not others. Not enough tables to use computers on. Might stay somewhere else next time only if I wanted to save money. Lock out each day was a bit annoying since I wanted to use the facility during then

very bad temperature staff in night, very impatient. Location is good, door and bathroom has no locker LOL, only 2 electricity chargers alone the door, extremely inconvient for charging your phones in night.

Academy Hostel was a fabulous treat after a long travel day. Couldn't ask for a better location, Rosa was fantastic, and the laundry facilities were a wonderful luxury. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice and clean Hostel with all the facilities a backpacker can ask for. Especially the big lockers are a plus.

This has to be the best hostel that I have ever stayed in. 2mins walk from the Duomo. Helpful staff. So so clean. Great staff. Friendly atmosphere. Great place to meet great people. Food and wine for no extra charge. Paying that little bit extra is well worth it. Love this place! ❤

This hostel was awesome. Probably the cleanest most well maintained hostel I have ever stayed at. Located in the heart of the city, within walking distance to all the major attractions. Yes it's true, this is not a party hostel, but I met really substantive people here and the bar crawl hostel scene didn't even feel necessary. The staff here is so kind and are all really interesting people who are excited to help and connect. Free breakfast and snack/ wine in the evening! Highly recommended!

The hostel was in a great location! Literally a minute walk away from the Duomo. The rooms were very clean and stylish. Everyone had their own individual bed and privacy wall which I loved. The only downside was that there wasn't as much of a social vibe as other hostels. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. There could have been more bathrooms though. I also enjoyed the free pasta and wine they were serving Saturday evening! Nice touch.

Located very close to the main Cathedral (Duomo), this is a very nice hostel with helpful staff who are happy to provide suggestions on places to visit, bars to go to and eating options. The only drawback is that they ask you to vacate the rooms between 11.00 am to 2.00 pm when they clean the hostel. But that's a trade off between having a clean hostel versus the convenience of sleeping in after a late night out.

This place was awesome. Loved that they offered free breakfast and pasta/ wine for happy hour around 6:30 pm! The people that worked at the hostel were great and the location was definitely the best in the city compared to other hostels. It was within a 10-15 min walking distance to anything, and literally down the street from the Duomo. The rooms were really cool, and I loved we got free towels. This is not a party hostel, so it's a great, chill atmosphere and easy to sleep. Stay here!

It was a clean hostel with free breakfast and evening snacks/wine. There is air conditioning in the room but they didn't have them running and there were no outlets by the beds, they were only by the door which is uncomfortable to let your phone sit by the door charging over night.

My best friend and I stayed at Academy Hostel in a 6 bed dorm and it was fantastic! The hostel is pristine, has great facilities - we found the computers especially useful for booking tickets for all the museums/galleries. The terrace is lovely for sitting out and having breakfast. It's great for socialising and meeting people from all over the world. A very good, central base for exploring Florence. Literally 30 seconds from the Duomo. All staff were friendly and very helpful.

It was a good hostel, strangely there were many mosquitos in the room even though the windows remained shut.

If you looking for the things below then you must take this hostel ! 24 steps to Duomo Quiet area Free breakfast Free apitizer around 6.30 pm(make friend) Free map Free towel Free locker in the room with the key And Free strong WiFi everywhere *I was traveling alone but i've never felt alone in this hostel.(5 mixed) *You could easily get some new friends there but only if you want to. Hahahaha Ps: This review is up to my opinion. Take a look around First. ^^

This was a pretty cool hostel. The beds were nice, the rooms were clean, they had wifi everywhere. You can tell they weren't trying to shove as many beds as possible into the rooms which was nice. However there is a lock out from 11-2 which is very annoying and would be annoying at any hostel. Other than that is was great! Not a party hostel. Nice and quiet!

The first thing to note is probably its excellent location. A mere five minute walk from the Duomo, this is an ideal base for exploring Florence. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Two toilets might be too few considering how many people it needs to serve, but otherwise it is fantastically equipped, most notably with laundry facilities.
