I would have liked a stove in the kitchen. The toilet and shower should not be in the same room. The staff are very friendly and helpful but there could be a bit more done to create a great hostel atmosphere. The shower couldn't decide whether to be hot or cold. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good and extensive for a continental breakfast. It's a bit awkward when they prefer you be be gone from 11 till 2 for cleaning. Laundry too expensive

Excellent hostel! Great staff, especially a guy called Totto who is always willing to take you out and show you some good places to eat/drink. The only negative was that the temperature of the water in the shower was difficult to control and was usually quite hot. But otherwise an excellent stay, will definitely return if ever in Firenze again!

We may have not read carefully the description of what exopected us but we were a bit disapointed by the facilities : -Beds were too flaby (soft) -Heat was not working during the night(cold during winter) -Showers took 3 mins to get warm each time you cut the flow of water But location was perfect, staff was nice and breakfast was ok

This was a great choice. The hostel was clean, lockers were large and the breakfast was verry filling. At night they serve red wine and appetizers on the house that turned out to be a really good. The staff was very helpful with helping us book tours and places to visit. They have two free walking tours everyday that show the different aspects of the city which were very informative.

On my 21 review in hostelworld! I have to recognize that this hostel is amazing. Location:Brillant;Staff Very hepfull in all the ways are possible!Under my experience travelling through many hostels I can't remember so much profesionality in this hostel there is.I highly recommend this hostel for quiet travellers but you don't expect party hostal where everyone's getting drunk and they provide dinner for free at 18:30!You're good ones!

The location is amazing! So close to the duomo and center of Florence. The atmosphere is great, really encourages you to meet other travelers. Aperitivo and breakfast are supplied everyday which makes for a good opportunity to find company of the day or night adventures. The staff are lovely and friendly and very helpful with cchoaing tours etc. the bedrooms don't lock but this does not matter, it is really safe. The number system in Florence is hard to navigate so make sure read directions.

I booked 2 months early, paying 28 euros per night. My roommate booked 1 week before arrival, paying 24 euros per night. I don't know why this happens. Is it because it is low season? Except that, my stay at Academy hostel is perfect. One of the best hostel experiences.

The cleanliness of the hostel was especially appreciated! Staff were friendly and very helpful. I have traveled through a few different European countries and Academy Hostel was by far my favourite. Keep up the good work!

Great hostel - central location, super clean, free breakfast, free wifi everywhere, free wine & snacks each night so can meet others Only improvement would be for an extra bathroom!

I don't think I've ever had such a good night's sleep at a hostel. The rooms are huge and the beds are super comfortable (there are no bunk beds here, so no getting woken up in the middle of the night by a random person rolling around above you). Also the location is amazing - it's just steps away from the main cathedral. The staff are super-friendly and are happy to give tips to maximise your stay. They even put on little snacks and drinks so that the guests can mingle. Thanks for everything!

Loved the hostel the minute i walked in, great lounge area with tv and big comfy couches, computer area, great kitchen that has a vending machine with beer in it ( need i say more?) And a really friendly and helpful staff. I felt really safe and comfortable in this hostel oh and everynight they dis an apertivo with snacks and wine. It was a really fun way to meet new people to travel around town with

Fantastic free food nights. Location is AMAZING, RIGHT next to the duomo. A good hostel, great for sleeping, not for partying though. Not much of a social atmosphere. Facilities are fantastic though, so deserves quite a high rating! Very comfortable stay!

Strange at first that rooms don't lock but the lockers are excellent. The male staff are lovely but the female was a little rude.

A great hostel, nice and informative staff, and a. Location Tehran can't be beat. What is especially nice is no bunk beds, and the fluorescent, rechargeable reading light they have at each bed. This way you can move around with the light ad not disturb those who are sleeping.

The problem is to get out of the hostel every day at 11 am.

the best hostel in the world for me. I will definitely go here when i visit Florence again.

Staff were great, helped me out when i was ill, made my stay the best it could be.
