Basically, we provide all the facilities required by a backpacker with one difference, we do it with attitude. The tranquility begins here; this is where you can relax in peace and quiet.

Randburg is a great center for a True third world African Experience. That is unlike our standard shopping complex that are all basically the same around the world. Randburg Central Business District(CBD) is 900meters North of us, this is a Cobble stoned Boulevard, that runs about 5 blocks, it has banks, shopping complexes and stales, where the local populating eat, trade and make merry.
What makes this a special experience is that due it is located in a middle class Suburb, you get to really experience Joburg, without the danger of being in the JHB CBD.

2 km's west of us is the Bright Water Commons, this is a outdoor based center that has a Flee market, small Craft Market and tons of entertainment and shopping, great for kids, or if it's a shopping centre you are looking for, there is the, Upper Class, Hyde Park Shopping Complex which is up the road towards the South, or you could just go to East on the Gautrain Bus System to Sandton City.

You'll find everything you are looking for a Tour and Information Center, clean comfortable accommodation, A shuttle service, in-house and out of house Entertainment etc..

From late afternoon you can meet fellow travelers in our buzzing Cellar for a drink or a game of pool. Relax and unwind around a cool, sparkling swimming pool and read a book from our large selection. Cool out under our LAPA an have a braai(outdoor fire for BarBeQuinG 'the African way'). All guests are given clean sheets, pillows and duvets. Most bookings include a free do-it-yourself (DIY)breakfast. One day on the weekend we have, a bring, and Braai and experience a true South African Braai with great food, music and vibes, at present we are re-doing the bar, but alcohol is available.

There is Easy access to theaters, sport stadiums, major shopping centers, authentic African restaurants, historical museums & only a short drive away from everywhere you need to go & everything you need to see.

Use the Experienced Tourist and Information center, to Explore the inner cultural and physical adventures that pulsate through Jozi(Johannesburg) and the rest of Africa.

We are also a pick up point for all major Kruger Safaris, the Baz Bus and can secure cheap rental cars for you the cars are drop off and picked up free of charge from the Hostel. Contact us, regarding our airport pickups 'meet and greet' services and prices. We have a 24 hour shuttle service to get you wherever you might need to go, or you can Bus it.

2 Major roads intersect near Accoustix and easy to get to Sandton 4km, 4 Ways, Jo'burg Central, Rosebank-Market the Zoo Lake and Zoo, Randburg Town & Bus Rank
