A very basic option a train ride away from shinjuku. Showers are limited to 10 mins with a token and dorms are not in capsule format as you usually get in Japan so zero privacy.

Pleasant, conveniently located, backpacker-friendly capsule hotel with easy access to both metro station and Shinjuku.

A good hostel with very comfortable beds in the cabins. Location could of been better as I always needed to use the underground to get anywhere but then again I should of stayed at a hostel in Shibuya which is a lot better than shinjyuku. Ten minute rule for the showers was shocking I felt like I was in prison or something but apart from them things very good hostel with very friendly staff!!!

Nice little hostel. Good location - right next to Akebonabashi station so very easy to get around Tokyo. Especially easy to get to Shinjuku and Shibuya (the two biggest districts). Good wifi, lots of storage space, cute little capsule beds. Was a bit more expensive than i would have liked to have paid for a hostel, but seems like the price is typical of other places in Tokyo. Atmosphere was lacking a bit - common room on top floor was always empty and not much to do in there.

Fantastic hostel, staff couldn't have been more helpful with sightseeing and booking trips. It was right next to the subway so location couldn't have been better, especially for the price. Would recommend to anybody visiting Tokyo on a budget.

The staff were very helpful an spoke English well. The common area is huge, although seemed to be hardly used. The location is good, right next to a Metro station. The capsule beds at this hostel were creaky, with a poor hard mattress, and no outlets. They also got very hot at times. The lockers are too small to fit a large backpack or suitcase, but there is other storage. Overall a good hostel and easy to meet people. Next time I would try a dorm style room.

Good location right near the subway station. Easy to get to lots of the best sights of Tokyo. Good shower and laundry facilities.

This hostel felt cold and money grabbing compared to most around Japan. Barely welcomed, we paid and were thrown a key, not even shown where the lift to the upstairs floors were! Plus the 10 minute shower rule is just stupid, you have to queue at reception to get a token for a shower, and there are four for a building with hundreds of people in! Much better places to stay in Tokyo that are far more welcoming, go elsewhere.

It was a very strange experience inside those capsule, creepy but very funny. The place is very near Akebonobashi Station, so excellent position. It's not the top of hygiene, and the showers are quite far (we were at 5th floor and the showers at -1) but I must say that afterall it was not so bad and surely it is very cheap, so for the price you pay it's ok.

Beds were really really hard. This was my first hostel on the trip and found out after most places had more comfortable sleeping capsules. No outlets in capsule in bigger dorms. Got upgraded to luxury and was much better, bad roommates turning lights on early am which wasn't the hostels fault at all, they do had curtains on the bunks which was nice. Kitchen/common area could have been a bit cleaner.

My first stay in a capsule and as they say, it's all about the experience! If you can put up with a little dirt and grime accompanied by awful septic smells, then you will have no problem at ACE. It's a great value for its location to Tokyo's nightlife.

No power in the beds, bathrooms weren't very clean and the common room is dirty old and falling apart.

Nice location just walk only a few minutes from the station and the place is easily found. For the shower, there is a limited time to use the shower and it was pretty difficult to me.
