Ace York is a city centre boutique hostel, conveniently located near York railway Station, bus station and situated in Micklegate, one of the oldest parts of York.
This grand Georgian 1752 townhouse has many impressive features; including stone-flagged entrance hall, a grand sweeping staircase, panelled rooms, vaulted cellar and a fabulous Rococo ceiling featuring Shakespeare's head. There is also a 24 hour spacious dining room. If you are looking for a budget York option, then Ace York is the place to be!
With air-conditioning throughout, its own Oak-Beamed Basement, TV & Games Room, NEW Movie Lounge, Sauna, 24 Hour Guest Kitchen, Laundry Room and outside seating area; Ace York is the top end of budget accommodation.
Ace York is situated within the City walls and has great views of York; including York Minster, the city centre and the historic railway station.
Ace York has recently undergone a 2 million refurbishment programme in 2009, in line with its traditional Georgian Heritage but with a modern edge, making it your perfect accommodation for a trip to York.

All bedrooms are en suite and designed to suit everyone's budget and all bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways & common rooms are cleaned daily to the highest standard. If you think we could do better then please tell reception whilst you are staying here and we'll be happy to help!
Ace York Double rooms overlook the famous York medieval city wall, built in 1192. They have safes, flat-screen TVs, tea & coffee facilities, dressing gowns, towels, toiletries and their own original 18th century fireplaces.
Twin Bunk Rooms offer views of Micklegate and all twins rooms offer flat-screen TVs, safes, towels and tea ∓ coffee facilities.
Family Rooms overlook the Medieval walls and have original oak beams and fire places, these large spacious rooms offer Tea & Coffee facilities, in-room safes, dressing gowns, towels, toiletries and flat-screen TVs.
The Dormitories range from 4 beds to 14 beds and have a view of either the walls of York, the Minster or Micklegate itself. With their own bathrooms, under storage lockers and individual reading lights, any chosen room is a delight.
*Please note: Families with children under 16 years old must take and pay for a whole
room as children are not to share with other guests*

Things to Note
There are 3 x 24 hour secure car parks within 2-5 minutes walk from here, which you will pay around �12 for overnight parking.
We can direct you to them when you get here.
Alternatively you can park outside the hostel if you arrive after 6pm and pay just �2 for overnight parking, or there is free parking on Albermarle Road, which is around 5-7 minute walk from the hostel.
