The family-run guest house located in Delhousie – the starting point of Adamspeak Hill Climb. We have single,double,triple & family rooms with attached bathrooms. Almost all bedrooms open up on to a terrace with open air lounge. All belong to low budget range but with all the essentials and they are well maintained. Unwind in our garden looking at the panoramic view of Adampeak and surrounded mountain range covered with dense jungle. This is an ideal place to stay and relax during your Adamspeak hill climb.
Twenty four hour restaurant available with home cooked Sri Lankan meals. Packed lunches can be organized with prior arrangements. Wi-fi available in restaurant and some common areas. Hot water 24 hours. Mosquito nets available in all rooms if required. Small shop on site with bottled water and small trekking snacks available.
Local guides available for Adams Peak ascent. House is situated near local tea plantation where guests can take free walks. Rafting and waterfall tours can be organized. Onward journey information available including bus and train timetables.Taxi service available for local area and other drop off points such as Kandy, Colombo Airport.

It was quite a cool stay. We got stuck at Adam's Peak due to a cyclone and basically coulnd't leave the guest house. They prepared nice food for us and we could (had to) chill out in their resto the whole day. Unfortunately, they don't use their facilities to the fullest. It's perfect for a chilled out backpacker "party", but everybody had to leave the restaurant area at 10 pm! Alcohol is not served, so bring your own. Staff was mostly nice, but English can be a problem.

Please be aware there is no bank in Dalhousie. The nearest is either Maskeliya. or Hatton.

If you are planning on climbing Adams Peak out of season the path is not lit and a torch is an absolutely recommended.
