About Activity Hostel
Come and stay at the best and coziest hostel in the town, where you can feel completely at home! The Activity Hostel is a small friendly family hostel in the heart of the city, in the 6th district. The location is very lucky. Near to the Hostel there are a lot of fabulous restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops… all important things you might need during your stay. Public transportation is easy, there are two metro lines within a few minutes, the main ring road with tramlines is just a minute from us, although all the important stuff are within walking distance.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is no extra charge for linen or towels. If you are searching for a small place to stay with a homely atmosphere we are the right choice for you!
In the Hostel there are non-smoking dormitory rooms (with 10 beds and 6 beds) and a Private room. 3 toilets and 2 showers are offered for the guest's comfort. Taxes, linen and towel included in price.
A double room: is a small room with a big double bed with shared bathroom. In the room there is a Colour TV and a cupboard for your clothes. This room is ideal for couples and friends, who would like to book a private room. Please notice: The double bed is NOT 2 twin beds!!!! The double room is opening from the kitchen.
The 6 and 10 bedded dormitories: There are BUNK BEDS and lockers in the room, it is good for invidual travellers or small groups.
We have a small common room where you can exchange your experiences, watch TV, use the Internet and talk with the other guest.
We also have a small but fully equipped kitchen with all day free coffe and tee.
Our friendly staff give you advice about Budapest, will arrange walking tours, bus tours, boat, wine and other tours and activities and help you organize your stay in Budapest. Our staff will try to help you with all your questions about Budapest.
Check-in and check-out time is absolutely flexible, no curfew, no lockout. We try to provide homely and friendly atmosphere for our guest.
Please note we do not accept credit cards and you will pay with cash on arrival.
Location: The location and the public transportation are excellent. We are located in the heart of the city. 5 minute walk to the red line station of Blaha Lujza – 2 minute walk to the Andrassy Avenue (which is part of the World Heritage), 5 minute walk to the blue line station of Nyugati pu. - 5 stops by trolley bus, from the international railway station (Keleti railway station).
Near at hand: Parlament – Parliament, St Stephen's Basilica (Szent István-bazilika), Madách Theatre, Andrássy Avenue, Hősök tere / Heroes Square, Hungarian National Museum, Art Gallery, Museum of Fine Arts, Műcsarnok Exhibition Hall, Hungarian National State Opera House, House of Terror, Hungarian National Museum, Dohány Street Synagogue, Váci utca, Széchenyi Medicinal Bath, Rudas Medicinal Bath, Gellért Medicinal Bath. Westend City Center, and Aréna Pláza Mall, which are the biggest shopping centers in Hungary.
Please note we are a non smoking hostel. The hostel is not a party place. We are in a residential building. It means after 10 p.m. you can not be very laud. I would NOT recommend it if you are looking for party hostel.
