The owner has been impolite since the very beginning. He tried to drop on me his problem with overbooking, just saying that it would have been better if I would have found another accomodation for the next day, even if I reserved for 2 nights, and he perfectly knew that all Reykjavik was full due to the Airwaves festival. The room was expensive but extremely small, stinky and dirty. May God kill me if I will ever go back there

The room was great and the location is amazing! Only minor problem was when I arrived a bit late due to a delayed flight and had to stand outside for over half an hour as there was no-one answering the door bell or at reception. I nearly gave up and went to look for another hotel but another resident came out and told me that someone was in and to just keep trying. The door bell was supposed to connect through to a mobile phone but didn't so just keep trying if this happens to you.

OVERprized! I do NOT recommend AdaM. You will get a lot more value for your money ANYWHERE else. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom and the room was so small I could´nt even stand up (and I´m just 166 cm tall). It was also very shabby and felt unclean, the bed was not a proper bed, it was just madrasses placed on top of each other. For this room I paid 99 euros/night, no breakfast. The stair up top the room felt VERY unsecure. The door didn´t close so good. The kitchenfacilities=BAD.

All in all it's okay if you want to save money but there are no excuses for a stinky bathroom if you have to share it with 5 other people (by the way the room called bathroom is about 1,5 x 1 meter...). I asked for the Internet Code cause it wasn't working as promised and the guy came in the house and tried to fix it while telling me the same time that it would be my fault if it's not working :/ We just used the bed to sleep but nothing else - next time I would try something else, definitely.

Tiny room - maybe 6 feet wide, not much space for luggage. Bathroom might have been bigger than our room! Trash was taken out and towels were changed every day. Free wifi was good. Never saw a staff member after check-in, no info given, no one to ask anything. Hallway usually smelled weird, but everything was clean. Would be nice to have a communal kitchen or common room/lounge/lobby. Lots of street noise if you are above the grocery store, which opens early.

We stayed for five nights and everything was good beside from the VERY UNPLEASANT host. He was almost angry when we asked for the price in euros (since we had no idea how much the iceland money is..) and accusing us for accusing him for fooling us....?! Felt very uncomfortable after that. Also the bathroom had mould so the room was very smelly... But besides all that, very good location and cheep (62 euros) for a double room with own bathroom.

Two different members of staff where independently of one another extremely unhelpful and almost made us seem like a hassle for staying there. The hostel wasn't clean and there was no atmosphere what so ever. very poor breakfast. Only good thing was the location, right in the city centre.

The service was horrible the room extremely overpriced, the room was unclean and messy. The space that is to be shared is way to small and flat out ugly experience!! The only good is a great location, it was worse that some of the worst Hostels I have ever stayed in and it calls itself a hotel. It was unacceptable. I don't wish this place on anyone else ever. Horrible management, very unprofessional, not even an office to find anyone in …ever.

The place was ok, the room we had was a better category than we had booked, very small, but all right. Not very nice was that the owner didn't want us to leave our luggage in the hostel on our leaving day for half the day. Other staff was very friendly.

When we arrived the guest house, we were surprised that the hous conditon was so poor with sort of weird smell of mold . The matress in our room was pretty bad. At night, when we entered their kitchen to make our dinner, we found a pot left on the stove wihtin molded pasta. That was pretty gross. Overall, this guest house is like a student accomodation, but u have to paid more than its value for staying. Definetely not recommended!

The situation is good in central city, but rooms are very small and not cleaned. They change only bed linen and towels. I was there for a week and there was no clean during my stay! A kind of little house, where people share bathroom and kitchen having a room to sleep. People come late, wake up early and you with them, because people don't respect the calm. A person has come at one o'clock of night time speaking very strong and even the person of the guesthouse has spoken very strong!
