Lovely hostel - staff were really helpful, beds were comfy and toilets were clean. Can't ask for much more on a short stay!

The place was well taken care of, very clean, and mostly quiet. My fellow roommates and I did have some troubles with some of the staff assigning us to the wrong rooms, beds or lockers and we had to keep switching. Other than that they were very nice.

Great hostel in a great location, you can buy spa bath party tickets from reception BIG MUST DO!

Clean, quiet and everything you need from a hostel.

We were a little disappointed with this hostel. Staff were friendly enough but did not really give any tips about places to go or things to do in the city. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm which was spacious, but for some reason there is no lock on the door to the room which was annoying one night when drunk people in the room next door kept coming into the room. The wi-fi was also not great and the toilets/showers were not that clean. Also, there were only three showers so shower at off-peak times.

I stayed in the mix dorm for 6 ppl. The hostel has good location. 1 min to the metro line one. 2 shared computer and kitchen. However, I felt the environment not so clean. There was dust on the table of my room, the corner of my bed and the shared computer. The shower rooms were dirty in the night. To me, the room was not clean and comfortable. However, the place might be sitable for people to meet new friends and party. They have a shared living room.

It is an energetic place but surely not for tired travelers after long distance commuting. The receptionist is helpful and you can borrow hairdryer and adaptor. The registration process sounds like meaningless. The bathrooms were not that clean as visitors used the facilities without care. It's not easy to find although it's in a accessible location as there is no banner or marking. I stayed in a mixed dorm, my roommates are brilliant.

Lovely hostel with excellent and friendly staff. Close to transportation. Has a really nice common room and very good atmosphere to meet people. The downside of the hostel is that the toilets are really cramped and showers can sometimes be very annoying

Pleasant interior, mostly IKEA, walls are covered in murals of Budapest and Hungary. Common bathrooms were a sore point -- fixed-height shower heads (for midgets), "automatic faucet" that you have to press all the time, broken clothes hooks (owner - just go to IKEA again, and get metal ones this time) ... and some shower rooms are so small it's not funny (no room to even undress without stepping in water). Staff is nice but inexperienced.

So make sure you write down the address when looking for the hostel because otherwise if you say Adagio Hostel no one nearby will know where it is. It's pretty hidden. They turn the electricity off at night! Which would be okay but they didn't tell anyone so a lot of people thought their adapters had broken. They should have had a notice or something. Also the staff weren't that great. If you want the private room also, its right next to reception so no privacy. Okay location at least.

Hostel is very close to one of the major metro stations (oktogon). It is in a good area. The food in and around the hostel (especially at the place right below the hostel) is very good. There are no sign boards so it is difficult to spot the hostel for the first time. Bathrooms are dirty and shower facility is not good. Also, the lighting in all the bathrooms is very bad. Staff are pretty good. Overall a decent place to stay.

One of the staff was not so friendly. There is no A/C in the room for summer days. The hostel has its laundry but overpricy. The wifi is not stable.

The ladder going up to the bunk-beds are impossible to climb up or down!

This hostel is conveniently located for public transit. Security was top-notch. The bathrooms were not great. The shower turned off every few seconds!

Was only at this hostel for 1 night and checked in at 11pm so didn't really get an opportunity to experience all the facilities. However the room was pretty cramped and quite smelly. Shower was hot and had great water pressure but no space to get out and get dressed! Easy to find, only minutes from the Kelatie train station, staff helpful with directions the next morning. Wash basins and toilets could be cleaner but an ok stay.

Fun hostel with a good social atmosphere. Kitchen is great and bathrooms are clean. Location in the Oktagon is nice - close to supermarket, banks, bars and restaurants

Above average hostel in a good location. The hostel does not offer much in the way of nightly outings so it is largely up to the travelers to meet and create their own fun trips. Adagio was a place to rest your head with good showers and decent security.
