We had a nice room, clean and comfortable at the separate apartment with kitche. Everything was good till at the very last moment we suddenly discovered that we cannot pay with credit card coz' the apartment that we were in is separate business from hotel (?!) We had to run to ATM hoping to catch our flight. Being 3 nights at the place no one bother to tell us that we can pay only in cash. This sad ending left a very bitter taste on our overall experience in Budapest and in Adagio hostel.

Great location, hostel is nice + cleaning ladies do a great job. Regrettably some of the staff need some basic lessons to improve their interpersonal skills (or get a job they like) + it doesn't bode well for a hostel when there are staff with bad attitude on reception, particularly the night shift guys.

Good hostel. Clean bathrooms and bedrooms. The lockers in the bedrooms aren´t very big, so it´s not possible to put the bag inside, only the valuables. They don´t lock and don´t give you the key to the bedroom door. The location is great, close to a lot of nice places.

Perfect situation close to everything, and in a very nice building! Super clean.

Terrible wifi that works half of the time and never in bedrooms, no social atmosphere, most other guests do not speak English or are older and no one talks to each other, showers are tiny with no water pressure and the water turns off very quickly (every 1-2 seconds for my first shower!), no bar, laptops not working.

Pretty good location, really close to the metro and other destinations. Everywhere is walkable from here! Room was ok, the bunk bed was old and shaky though.

Nice hostel in prime location and really cool old building, the bathroom area is a bit small and the lockers need handles on them as they were awkward to open. You need to change the name, having two hostels with the same name in the same city that close to each other is just silly

We stayed in a private room and were close to the reception area, i was woken in the morning by the fire alarm beeping quite loudly, as there had been a power cut and i assume the person on reception wasn't trained on how to use the alarm. This went on for about 2/3 hours until someone who knew how to use the machine turned it off. This was the only thing that faulted our stay, it was very irritating but other than that everything else was great. Thanks, Sophie and Ryan.

Extremely well-located. Staff prepared and willing to help. Kitchen, wifi and other facilities were working properly. The only downside is the atmosphere, which sometimes doesn't only depend of Hostel's governance.

It´s a beautiful place to stay, i really enjoyed a lot. Just some issues sometimes with internet access / WiFi, but besides that, everyone were super nice and warm, the atmosphere made me feel relaxed :)

Great location for exploring Budapest - very happy with costa coffee downstairs for morning coffee! Also great Thai and Italian restaurants either side of the hostel. Great kitchen to cook in and very spacious rooms. On,y downside was wifi wasn't great in the rooms and it wasn't as sociable as we were expecting but we still enjoyed our stay.

Brilliant! One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Location was ideal and it was incredibly clean.

JUst like previous year, it was very clean and orginized. and when ever I or my friends had a question we go the staff full attention.

Good hostel no aircon sadly and felt it was difficult to meet other people in the hostel as the shared living room was nearly empty everytime we went near it. maybe this was because of the giant music festival that was on during the time we stayed but I doubt it. staff where very friendly though! !!

This hostel was perfect if you wanted to go on nights out in Budapest, but for travelling round we found it a little loud. And as people can wonder in off the streets it didn't feel that safe.
