One of the worst hotel experiences of my life. An owner threating us fisicly to pay HIS own prices, regardless the agreement with hostel world (ignoring the advance paied and indicating a higher price in euros). At our demand to discuss the issue he run us from the hotel, at 7.OO pm, of a rainy cold iceland night. The room was not in good conditions, different adress because of the ruin of the building. A proper complaint and refund demande will be asked to hostel worl.

The entrance is not on the street that is says it's on; you walk in on the other side of the block. When I showed up, I wasn't even shown into a lobby, but made to wait outside where it was raining until they came down with my keys. Attitude of staff was very curt and dismissive. Not a place I would recommend to anyone at all. Look elsewhere.

We really enjoyed staying in Adam. The location was great and the price was awesome!

Miserable manager, squalid rooms in a neighboring house that might as well have been a half-way house, among the worst hostel experiences I've ever had. Stay anywhere but here!

There is a kitchen facility but no breakfast is actually served. A very nice hostel in a central location. Would stay here again.

we had a great room with its own cooking facilities, which is a bonus. its right by the big church, so a grat location. no big deal but the windows could do with a clean, but the inside was spotless.

This hostel will be perfect for anyone looking for a cheap room right in the center of Reykjavik. If you don't like when there is blood on yours sheets, when the bathroom and the windows seems to have been cleaned for the last time a long time ago, when you don't feel comfortable and secure, etc you'd better pay a little bit more and find a nicer place. As the owner of the place says: nothing is free in life, you get what you paid for. A good lesson indeed!

No information was given as to how the rental arrangement worked. I was in a small bungalow with what seemed like other permanant residents who had cooking facilities There was no toilet paper Was I meant to get my own? I was unsure what as expected It was quite disconcerting

The key to the front door at the hotel where so hard to use that you had to spend five minutes each time you wanted to get in. The beds where so narrow u could not turn in them without falling out and the shower where so tight to get in to that you had to press your self in between the doors to the shower.

Staff was very unfriendly (and seemed to be drunk). We did not feel very welcome in this hostel.
