Clean rooms, clean bedding, well ventilated dorm and the balcony addition to some of them is great.

Only negative thing was one member of staff seemed to rush everything, like it was a chore to deal me other than that I loved my stay here, there was a sweeper truck outside the window each morning but earplugs block that out! A fantastic mix of people staying here; older, younger and all those I between. Its very clean and , energetic enthusiastic helpful staff on the whole. Great place to stay in a great city. I would recommend this hostel to my friends and family with confidence!!

Staff really friendly. Really clean room with great quality sheets, pillows etc. They even provide free sunscreen at reception - very sun smart!

Unfriendly female staff on reception. I wasn't made to feel welcome and hardly any information was passed on about the hostel/ facilities available

Clean and very well equipped hostel. The only negative thing is that you cannot check in before 1 PM. This can b very frustrating if your air-plane arrives in the morning.

the place is your typical awesome facilities, clean factory hostel. they try as hard as they can to make it fun and offer sociable areas, but it just doesn't work for meeting people, you are pretty much on your own. the place is spotless and they have some really cool facilities like guitar hire etc. The staff are polite enough, the only annoying things are the usual hidden extras like wifi and internet etc. Great place if you just want a nice place to stay.

Hostel was a 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of the city. As with most YHA hostels the rooms were spacious with large lockers & nightlights. Staff were very friendly & there were a number of informational booklets on Adelaide. Hostel was located near to a couple of bars/clubs which meant it was a little noisy. Plenty of showers & toilets. Large kitchen & dining area, 2 TV rooms, book exchange, reading room, table tennis & laundry facilities. $12 taxi ride to Ghan station.

Loved the vibe of the place and the guests. Had a great location! Had to get my access card reset five times and the last time, they gave me the wrong person's card. Only had issues with one receptionist who wasn't nice or helpful at all, but everyone else seemed great! Bathroom on second floor is grotty, but first floor is immaculate. Loved the common area and kitchens were awesome.

The hostel is very clean, has great facilities and is a great place to get to know people. The communal area is the best communal area I have seen in any hostel. The free king pong is great although $2 a game of pool is quite steep.

Unfortunately, a rather poor stay. Room 212 smells really (!) bad and doesnt get better after leaving the window open for an entire day. Staff at receiption was either not interested at times or seriously understaffed, I can't be sure. But everytime I went there I had to wait at least 5 minutes - especially frustrating if it was because the key carded stopped working again (happened 2 times in 2 days). Nice free city tour on Saturdays, godd facilities but expensive (WiFi extra 5 Dollar/day).

I found the ground floor street view room extremely noisy. It was hard to take on a very hot night as the fan is very noisy and not very efficient.
