One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. One of the office clerks called and scheduled an early-morning taxi for me and my traveling buddies. Breakfast was good and filling. Lots of nice and interesting people staying there. Common area was equally as clean. Didn't feel like a hostel (which, for me anyway, usually means a nasty place). Location wasn't super convenient but not bad either.

It was a great stay and the owner made everything he could to make it pleasant for us, including changing us from one room to another so we could stay all together in a group. Staff is generally very friendly (with a few exceptions), the atmosphere is great to meet people and you even get an event every day. The only con I can point out is that dishes and cutlery are washed by the guests, so they're usually dirty and you have to clean them before use it.

I had a private room which was actually in a hotel right across the street. But I was welcomed to the hostel and really met lots of great people and had fun there.

I had a fantastic time staying here. Nice building (much nicer than the pictures portray), great location, made awesome friends, friendly and helpful staff and lots of maps and info for free. Good vibe and had lots of fun in the hostel.

We booked for the Adelaide but were actually in the Fitzgerald which is fine but it would have been good if you told us that straight away so we could go straight there.

Wouldn't take too much effort to really make the rooms appear clean. Shower is rather weak, like being pissed on. Staff were excellent besides one cranky woman but everything was excellent. Would stay here again.

A fantastic hostel. Really great environment, it's small enough not to be devoid of life. Amazing free breakfast. half the staff are super lovely and hang out with all the guests. The other half clearly hate their life. I stayed here and the hi hostel and this one was better and cheaper by far.

We booked a private double room, and ended up being transferred across to the Fitzgerald hotel across the road. Our room was really lovely complete with a tv, and was cleaned every day. There was quite a variety for the free breakfast that ran until 10. We were still able to use the excellent kitchen, free computers and the laundry room in the Adelaide so we got the best of both worlds! Staff were good for advice about the area. We really enjoyed our stay and ended up extending our trip!

Bit noisy on the alley after 10pm on several nights. The window had to stay open or it got too stuffy so if someone was smoking on the alley under the window it got a bit smelly. all were friendly and I would stay again.

Since we booked a private room, we were sent to a nearby hotel, but were told we were still able to use the amenities at the hostel. But, we weren't given the information on how to get into the hostel once the doors were locked and no one answered the doorbell. Basically, we planned our trip around the facilities of a hostel but ended up not having any of it. It was a good thing it wasn't raining or else treking back and forth would have been quite annoying.

Good hostel, good location, good staff. However, the beds were pretty squeaky, but they were doing renovations whilst we were there to make this even more good. Good free tour, free breakfast and internet. Good stay. Good. Just generally good...................................................... Good.

Great people, not a drinking party hostel, but that is good. Happy friendly people, and a clean place and perfect location.
