We spent a few nights here and found the location perfect for exploring the city. The room was clean and useable and the bathrooms seemed to be cleaned every day. The common areas are a little shabby but not at all run down. This is a great place for budget conscious travellers to stay. The staff were very nice too. Wifi was also really good.

i really liked this Hostel, very nice staff, good location.

One of my favourite hostels I've stayed at in Australia. The kitchen is well serviced and the manager on reception is incredibly polite and extremely helpful. Personal thanks to him for his excellent service. Beware a two dolla charge on card payments. Good atmosphere and great location for both town and the greyhound bus stop.

Dirty hostel and a horrible atmosphere

Dorms are very small, no storage for the luggage Only 4 lockers in a 10 bed dorm Very good bathroom facilities, kitchen clean and spacious, big common area All in all good hostel!!!

Dorm and showers were clean, but the kitchen smelled rotten and the cleaning sponges looked like they've been used since weeks. I've seen the staff cleaning the kitchen but even then it still smelled. For a short stay to discover Adelaide it's great but not for a longer one when you want to cook properly.

Some of the Staff were really friendly and helpful and some other staff got grumpy when you questioned something.

It's a nice backpacker, but everything is made for you to spend more money than you should, which is not what you wanna find in a backpacker. Ex: if you bring your own alcohol you have to pay 4$ for each bottle, they ask you to buy at the reception instead: 30$ a 6 pack of a not so good beer. 4$ an hour for wifi. A lot of forbidden things: no balcony after midnight (even on Christmas), kitchen closed after 10pm. On the other hand the manager is really nice

Nice staff. Felt safe with 24h open reception and locked doors at night. Bathrooms very clean and good hot showers. Kitchen worked well. We used the laundry machine, the clothes were not completely clean when they came out... Otherwise good hostel.
