the staff were fabulous and the location is right near the railway station. not far from the bcd but with not a lot to see there anyway its a great place to head south on the train. i would stay here again to enjoy the amazing view from the front windows over the water and the train line. thanks

The place is very clean and has nice view to the beach with beautiful sunset. The Breakfast offered is basic but you can buy your own stuff and put it to the fridge. The staff is competent and helpful. The place offers very good value for your money. Only hair in the soup: They promised me a metered Riksha on my departure but then I had to haggle with the driver at 4 o'clock in the morning as there was no meter.

As far as hostels in Colombo go, this place is the best. It's in a secured building, the woman is always here cleaning and keeping watch. After getting robbed of my money and belongings in Sri Lanka, I came back here and felt incredibly safe- safe enough to leave my purse in my room when I would go to the beach (which is literally just downstairs). When you get here, you might be like "dafuq?" but soon you'll realize that, for the price, this is the safest place in all of Colombo. Cheers.

Please provide a towel and a bed sheet for the mattress.

Adikaram\'s is a good value for the money, but it is slim on hospitality and lacking atmosphere. We stayed because the price was cheap, but we didn\'t exactly feel welcomed by the staff. During our stay the air con was broken and the rooms were scorching. Also, it\'s worth nothing that it\'s a very small place with cramped quarters as guests we were always dancing around each other, waiting for the bathroom and computer,and saying excuse me, sorry, excuse me can I get through.

the curfew at 10 pm although not much probs was made some night would have like dto stay up later than 1045 presure was put on me to go to bed

Has a 10pm curfew, but the place is very clean and new for a hostel!

The hostel is clean and tidy. This is new hostel and it is excellent and value of money. This is very near to the beautiful sea. Excellent place to enjoy. The lady in the hostel was so friendly and helpful.

The hostel needs some security lockers in the rooms, the tips, how to get to a city by bus, by train, what to do in colombo city, what to see, some tours etc.

The lady in the hostel is really friendly and the facilities are great: free bread, butter and wifi! The hostel is really clean and from the balcony you can see an amazing sunset! The beach is one minute walk and there are restaurants and supermarkets just around the corner! Recommended!

A great place to get a rest from the busy Colombo. So close to the city but all you can hear it the ocean's sound- wonderful! Air condition would be good though as it gets really hot in the small rooms, or at least another fan. I definitely recommend this hostel!

This is the best hostel I've ever been. The dorm beds are new, the sheets are clean and my mattress was very comfortable. The whole apartment is kept very clean and tidy. You get a great view from the balcony and also from the roof top to the ocean. You have a nice sandy beach in front of the door. A standard breakfast (toast, jam, tea, coffee) is being provided. Internet and Wifi is available free of charge.

I flew into Sri Lanka at 3:00am & was not sure if I was going to be able to use their airport transfer but got a very quick response saying they had already set up a driver and that he would be waiting for us! It was great! It took us a bit to find the place and once we found it it seemed like we were walking Into someone's personal house but once we met the staff and owner we felt right at home. Very clean! The owner is so sweet & was open to all recommendations to improve their new hostel!
