Pros: Good location, friendly and english speaking staff. Free internet ja laundry possibility. Warm water in shower. Cons: There's only one bathroom so you may have to wait if the hostel is crowded. The sheets could have been bigger. The hostel is quite small so if it's fully booked, it may get noisy.

Admiral hostel is a very decent hostel and it\'s walking distance from everything. What makes this place special is the staff. They were very nice, friendly and helpful. ıf I come to Irkutsk again, Admiral hostel will be my first choice!

Admiral hostel is in fact an adapted residential flat with only 2 dorms (one for couple and in the another room they've made a dorm), one single bathroom and a kitchen, looks like you're at a friend's flat and not in a hostel. Its very informal. Cleanliness was very very bad (we stayed in the couple room and it was full of dust on the floor and furniture, the bed sheets were made for single and not a couple bed and we have to arrange it, no toilet paper in the bathroom..).

Top hostel, good location, friendly intimate atmosphere. Elena/Helen was very helpful in giving advice as well as providing nice company. I would definately stay again.

Very friendly staff! As with all Russian hostels this one is quite difficult to find but after that it's all good. Oh and the washing machine didn't work during my time there.

Admiral Hostel is one of those places you are wandering to find when you've been traveling for a while, with fluently english speaking staff, very helpful in any request or need you have, the kitchen facilities are excellent and brand new, toilet is very clean at all times, shower has got a strong water pressure and hot water is available 24h , beds in the dorm are comfortable with very clean bed sheets, and wi-fi is working very well anywhere in the hostel...Wooden floors, and good heaters.

Good location in the city near the main square and a 20 minute walk from the train station. Super quick wifi which was great. Very helpful staff and good sized bedrooms with nice bunk neds.
