Great place if you want to stay away from the city crowd and enjoy the sea! Good location, although hard to find ! (house number 60 and 39 btw:)

We have enjoyed our stay very much even though it was already beginning of October as we still managed to go for a swim and enjoy the sunshine. The facilities in hostel are very good but as it is written on the hostel website you do need to take bus to Split if you want to have a choice where to buy groceries. But bus goes twice to town so that was easy. The hosts are very nice and ready to help and also just chat with you. We will hopefully be able to come back again.

Seaside location was amazing. It's a half hour bus ride to downtown Split, but the bus stop is right next to the hostel and the gorgeous costal location with swimming dock more than made up for it. Description of location on hostelworld is accurate; if you would prefer a peaceful waterfront setting, this is the place for you. If you would prefer to be downtown where you can stumble back to the hostel, it probably isn't. Breakfast was included, huge, and amazing. Would definitely stay again.

We all wanted to stay longer. Staff was very helpful and generous. Breathtakingly beautiful locale. We now know where our go-to home is in Croatia!

A youth hostel with a family atmosphere, we even got invited for a free lunch with the family. Located 30-40 min bus ride from split in a tiny village right on the sea. Don't expect an idyllic sandy beach, but instead a ladder into the sea in the backyard close to a very busy road. We still enjoyed the privacy of the private 'beach'. Wifi worked well and the room was fine except for road noise. Breakfast was quite plain, coffee & bread mainly. Nice staff, but someone stole our beer twice!

Good place to get away but no restaurants and only a very small grocery store nearby to get food. Rooms had fans but no AC.

Good location, but is not easy to find it

I was originally going to stay at Adria for 2 nights, but after 1 I extended my stay to 5 as I felt so relaxed and loved the people and the peace of just lying on the private beach in the sun. The only negative may be the half hour bus ride it takes from split, but I thought this was good as it meant the area wasn't touristy and we had more space and privacy than if in split. There is a small local shop 5 minutes walk away, and a restaurant 15 minutes away. I didn't feel I needed anything more

The only down side was the busy road between the hostel building and the rooms, otherwise the atmosphere was great and the people we met were lovely. It is further out of Split than we realised, about half an hour on the bus.

Was fantastic place to come for 3 nights. However if your hungry after 11pm it can get difficult with the kitchen / common room curfew. But otherwise the place is fantastic, right on the water.

Amazing location for a hostel - literally the garden is just the sea! Also beware if you are booking thinking you are in SPLIT (like us) it is actually in a village outside of it - the 30 min bus from split isnt too bad but its not very reliable, meant to be every half an hour but we waited an hour one time and missed our ferry.

Cross the street and you'll have the sea :-)

Your hostel is very lovely. The only problem I would say is getting there by bus. It would be very helpful if there was a sign for the hostel on the bus stop to let people know it is that correct one. As you say the locals were very nice but we had a huge problem finding Adria. Also you could mention in the directions that there is a road sign that says Bajnice on it and that would have been helpful to look out for. Also there is only one sign for hostel and its not very noticeable.

Beautiful family run hostel. Amazing location along the coast from Split with fantastic views. I wanted somewhere peaceful and relaxing to stay after the madness of doing Sail Croatia and this was perfect. It has its own seafront with diving board into the sea and sunbeds and umbrellas, tables, a kitchen and bbq to use, fresh produce in the garden which you are encouraged to pick and eat... during a 5 day stay I barely ventured out into town, there was just no need!

The location was good but it's very difficult to get there! Really stressful, it must have more signals and instructions to arrive. Security poor because there weren't lockers available.

Great location - great rooms - great staff - unfortunate that everyone has to be so quiet so early :(

Staff very friendly and helpful, nice atmosphere and right on the beach front - perfect for a chilled few days.

Definitly one of the best hostels ever! It might be located outside if town, but the private patio next to a cristal clear ocean makes up for the 30 minute busride!!!! It had a friendly atmosphere with a definite backpacker's vibe.Staff is super relaxed and helpful, for Sure coming back.

The stay at the Adria Hostel was perfect. The owner is super nice and helpful. It is located right at the ozean and there is a diving board to jump into the water which is very nice because you dont have to walk on the stony beach to get into the water. Split is just a 30 min busride away and the city is impressive. The price of the room also includes breakfast which offers a good variety. The rooms and all the bathrooms were always clean. I can highly recommed the stay at Adria Hostel.
