We told the hostel we were arriving at 1am and we booked based on 24hour reception. We arrived to a door answered by a man wearing underwear. reception was not open. no toilet paper in the bathrooms and no towels because no reception, no key to our room because no reception so no check in. At 4am a market opens outside the windows which is loud (pack ear plugs) at 9am reception was still not open. We woke up with bed bug bites- to compensate, they took 3$ off the room.

Great location to all attractions, beach, market, Palace, Riva, etc. Staf were friendly and helpful, Hostel is modern, clean, internet station and common area.s

Great location, but a bit of a cramped kitchen, the living room was dirty and worst of all; the WiFi wasn't working 80% of the time.

The staff were very friendly, they provided maps and tips. The hostel is beautifully decorated and very modern. Loved the location: a great way to experience Split.

I had the best time staying here! It was in a great location, central to everything for the day and night time. The people working there were also really nice and helpful for getting around and tips about what to do. I also have to say it was one of the cleanest and best looking hostels I have been to... and I have been to many I would definitally recomend staying here!

When booking via hostel world, we booked a "4 bed dorm" as there were going to be 4 of us girls travelling together. Upon arrival we were told that the boss of the hostel "just put that up, but we don't actually have any 4 bed dorms". We had also booked a second night at this hostel 7 nights later. 3 of our group were sick, one with bronchitis and the air conditioner in our room (and the rom next door) was broken. We were not provided with a fan, nor compensation of any kind. Rude staff too.

Great hostel - doesn't look much from the outside but once you get in its very clean with helpful staff and a great feel. Excellent for socialising.

The WORST hostel I ever stayed. .Firts there is no worning about deposit for key so make sure you have some cash... The bathrooms are dirty. In my room from the aircondition was leak centraly in to my bed. I understand I have choosed dorm room but i don't think so is save put one female traveled on her one with 5 completly strange males??!No lockers! How they pass inspection??? Definitely I DON'T recommend staying here to others!!!

Staff were a bit sarcastic and non-commental when I asked questions or wanted change. Regardless of if it was only a few Kuna... it's my money so to get funny about the fact that i wanted change was a bit much. Location was great and bedrooms were very clean, rest of the place was ok in terms of cleanliness, but got dirty VERY quickly.

The bathrooms were pretty dirty by the evening and there was wasnt hot water by then but apart from that it was a nice place near all the action of Split

The washrooms were pretty much always dirty and out of toilet paper and paper towels. They smelt like urine and water temperature was not consistent. It was so busy with people in and out that lockers would help for valuables, or put locks on your bag. Using the kitchen is not reliable. The desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly though. They should just hire a proper cleaning staff for the bathrooms and kitchen. Location was perfect.
