THIS IS NOT A HOSTEL. It's more like a mix between motel, dorm rooms, mental institution and homeless shelter. They have mentally ill people living there permanently, shouting and screaming. The free things they advertise are horrible. Breakfast is 1 muffin. Dinner is french fries, plain white rice, nachos and ketchup EVERY night. No vegetables, no meat - just that. There's free coffee from a filthy machine. Outlets have cords hanging out from the wall. Police come by daily for theft and noise.

the staff when i checked in was rude, and she charged me more than the price stated on this website. it was about 3 dollars more, and she said it was for tax. would've been nice if they said that on the website. there were only people in their 40s and 50s in the bar..i don't think it's a bar for young people. the beds were very uncomfortable, and the room was so cold at night. only good thing was the shuttle service. also hard to get around from here. wouldn't recommend if you want to see LA

The hostel area is really nice.. big and wide... but the staff is not that great.. they arent pretty much helpful and don't seem happy in answering customers questions... They do because they can't avoid it.. but they dont seem pleased to do so. Of course, not all of them... boys were kinder than girls, though.

Lady that checked me in on 1/22/12 was really rude. Asleep at 2am, guy in the room gets up, turns on all the lights & starts texting. Then the same guy gets up at 6am, AGAIN turns on all the lights, gets ready and walks out leaving all the lights on--- when I went out to common area...the guy WAS A STAFF MEMBER!!! They need to find some people that actually WANT to work there- they ruined my stay

best value near the airport with 24 hour shuttle, bar, warm pool, free wifi, and all the weird people that makes Inglewood that special place...;-)

I chose this hostel specifically because it was close to the airport which was what I needed, but when I saw the place I wish i could have stayed longer! looks like a fun environment to be in. Was very impressed with my super clean ensuit room. I did however arrive at midnight and had to leave at 7am so I didn't get to fully experience the place or the area or take advantage of all the freebies offered unfortunately. also love that I didn't have to make or strip my bed upon check-out.

I had a too poor attendant treatment. I arrived at the airport at 9 PM on Dec 31st and called the hostel asking for the shuttle. My English is not so good yet and I asked her to speak slowly. So, she told me that if I don't know English I should look or another place and hang up. I called again and asked her to be more patient and I could understand her. No way, she just said to me: "I'm done!" and hang up. I tried two more times and she just hang up when recognize my voice. I didn't go there.

Great location for airport and free shuttle is great. You may have to wait a while for the shuttle depending on how busy it is, but its free so no complaints. Large luggage lockers available. Staff was helpful and cheap food/drinks available on site.

Really great bartender & cheap drinks, the pool was empty which was a bit disappointing, & the rooms were really cold, no heating. The dinner was all carbs, but it was free so cant really complain. Great that it had a free 24 hour shuttle to airport, bus station & metro which made things easier, although one night i had to wait in the cold & dark for over a hour, and had to keep ringing the hostel as they kept saying someone would be there right away & they werent. But overall good fun!!

I loved my stay at Adventurer! Even though I was traveling alone, it did not feel like it. There were so many friendly people from around the world, and everyone was very helpful. Great atmosphere!
