The staff were nice and helpful and went out of thier way to accommodate us. It was a very busy weekend in Townsville and although the hostel has noise restrictions, loud parties went on all night. The bathrooms were clean and tidy, although our twin share room had not been thoroughly cleaned. The table had not been wiped and there was a cockroach on the table when we enetered the room. The curtain in the room did not cover the window properly due to broken clips. worst bed I've ever slept in!

YOU SHOULD CALL IT A DISCOTEL INSTEAD OF A HOSTEL. LOUD MUSIC ALL THE TIME. STOP THE MUSIC. MAKES NO SENSE. IF THEY WANT LOUD MUSIC GO TO A DISCO

The Hostel was a bit crowed on the night! ( till 2 a.m) Room was not too bad and clean.... the lock for some doors in men bathroom was brokn!

Big and clean hostel with pool and about 10 min walking-distance to the shops. Unfortunately, dryers (only 2) did not work. Gas stoves in the kitchen which have to be switched on by fire matches.

Awful place. Never go there !

Backpacker very murky, there is a hen who walks in the home, the pool is not clean and the people who live there are very weird. Only stayed one night and luckily!

stayed in that hostel for 1 night though everyone told me that i shouldn't stay there. and actually it wasn't that bad. the rooms were okay with a fridge inside, the bathrooms were alright as well. the kitchen was bad. huge but no utilities at all (you had to rent a plastic dish set made for one single use). apart from that the hostel was on the other side of the town and there was only a bus going there though their hostelworld description said that they've got a shuttle. but: nice staff!
