The owners of this guesthouse are the sweetest people. I got a pickup from the train station and we always had friendly chats every time I went out. My room was cleaned well every day and the bed was comfortable. Close to everything in the old quarter. The wifi did cut out pretty frequently, though, and my laundry was returned slightly damp.

Great place to stay right in the centre on the old quarter. Hotel staff are amazing in ever way from arranging our halong bay trip to bus journey out of hanoi. rooms are a good size and have all amenities.

Loved this place! Doan and Thanh made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived! They were really helpful, they recommended nice good value places to eat, things to see and do and they arranged my bus tickets and a really good Halong Bay cruise at great prices. My room was big, comfortable and spotlessly clean. This place was like a home away from home, I didn't want to leave! Would definitely stay here again!

Not the rooms will be the reason why you'll stay, simple just the family so nice and helpful that you don't want to leave them. :)

This hostel is the best; it has good rooms, location and staff! The rooms are quite neat and big, the beds are kind'a hard but bearable, depending of which side of the hostal you stay you might hear more or less noise at nights. The staff, mainly its owners Thanh and Doan, are very kind and helpfull. They where allways available when we needed help, they booked us bus tickets at low prices, offered great tours at low costs which were very organized. Had a great experience I totally recommend it!

Luang and his wife are just simply amazing, they were very helpful and friendly in organising our trip to Halong Bay. Considering that we arrived a little bit late the day before and were afraid that it would be too late to book a trip for the next day they were able to make it happen easily. They also helped us booking taxis and airport transfer at good rates. Rooms were comfortable and the location is excellent. For the price we really really recommend staying here. Don't think twice.

The family were amazing, sorted out everything for us including halong bay bait trip. Would recommend this place a decent value for money accomodation to anyone.

A great hotel in a great location. Doan and his family are really welcoming, friendly and helpful and their little daughter is just adorable! Our room was fairly basic but huge, clean and comfy and as it was particularly cold when we stayed they'd been really thoughtful and put a nice thick duvet on the bed and put a heater in the room. We'd definitely recommend Advisor Hostel.

A very basic hostel run by a young family. Rooms in the front are noisier but more spacious. Breakfast was ok.

I loved my stay at the Advisor Hostel! The family that run this hostel are so helpful, sweet and do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. We even got a room upgrade which I really appreciated! They helped us organise our trip to Halong Bay which was the highlight of my trip to Vietnam. The hostel is located in the Old Quarter and is very close to restaurants and major sights, making it a very convenient location.

Good location and excelent staff! Breakfast included, is ok.... Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Bed no so confortable!!

This hotel is basic but clean and extremely correct for the price you pay. It is well located in the heart of the old quarter. But you should definitely go there because the staff. The tenants (a young couple with a lovely little child) are extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed there at the beginning ou our 3 weeks trip through Vietnam and they really helped us, booking bus and train tickets for us and giving us the right advices to make the most out our time there. Highly recommended!
