I only stayed for one night but I really appreciated it! The location was perfect, very near from Trieste centrale and also near from restaurants. The WC and shower room is very clean. I would highly recommend this hostel!

Seemed like the hostel was trying to hard to be "cool." I think that Ghega could be a lovely place to stay--Make sure you fix the wifi so that stayers can use it in their rooms, the doors on one of the bathrooms are broken. The rooms are really nice. The "common area" could be more fun--make it more interactive. Overall, try to make it a less clinical experience.

Ok for a quick stopover but nothing more

excellent hostel

Very helpful staff and the location is near the train and bus station. No kitchen.

Its good for a stop over , 1 or 2 nights. Facilities are bare minimum, just bed and shower, nothing more. Position is central , the lady at the reception desk is nice and helpful, but the man at the reception desk must step up his manner. Wifi did not work during our stay.

Really close to train station, and nice welcome. Rated facilities as poor, as Wi-Fi was so temperamental and no luxuries such as towels, soap, breakfast, vending machines, cooking facilities etc. etc. Good base for exploring Trieste and surrounding areas.

Great if all you want is a good night sleep, not so great if you're looking for party and meet people. The location is good (right beside train and bus station and 5/7 min walk to the center) and it's a nice option since Trieste is a desert in terms of budget accommodation.

Nice place, very convenient location for access to central station and bus station, but a fair walk to tourist area. Very quiet place (good if this is what u want) saw little of the staff but they were nice and helpful when seen. No kitchen, would have appreciated a place to boil some water for a cup of tea or coffee (though there was a coffee machine in reception and though cheap still had to pay for the drinks). Good to have individual lights above the beds and appreciated not having bunk beds

Nice little place, basically a hotel that has a dormitory. It was very quiet and clean. The man and woman who ran it were kind enough. My only complaint would be that there is no WIFI.

Hostels is very bed.

This hostel is very close to the train station and is within easy walking distance of the center of Trieste. My impression is that most guests stay for a quick stopover and not very long, for which this hostel is just fine. You should know that it's one of those hostels that may charge for lots of little things (towel, breakfast, late check-out or check-in, etc.), though the charges are posted clearly. The other downside is that the internet was terribly slow and only available from the lobby

Good location right beside the station and 5-10 minutes from Piazza Unità. Not really a hostel, no communal area, but the rooms have wardrobes and tables. In 2015 it should not be difficult to get wifi in your room though. Wifi is only available on a couch outside the office. Helpful staff, just a couple that runs the place alone, but they'll charge you for printing, to watch your bags or any other 'luxury' you might request. By far the cheapest in town though.

Sergio and Giovanna are the most caring hosts we've met in this trip. They helped us with all sorts of information about the city, the surroundings, the transport system, and even talked to us for a long time about everything. The hostel may be a little dark, but their empathy it's a rarity among other places. The bed is big, and even though the room faces the street, the double windows protected us from the city noises. The bathrooms are clean and smell good. Definetely will stay here again.
