Nice place, very convenient location for access to central station and bus station, but a fair walk to tourist area. Very quiet place (good if this is what u want) saw little of the staff but they were nice and helpful when seen. No kitchen, would have appreciated a place to boil some water for a cup of tea or coffee (though there was a coffee machine in reception and though cheap still had to pay for the drinks). Good to have individual lights above the beds and appreciated not having bunk beds

Nice little place, basically a hotel that has a dormitory. It was very quiet and clean. The man and woman who ran it were kind enough. My only complaint would be that there is no WIFI.

Hostels is very bed.

This hostel is very close to the train station and is within easy walking distance of the center of Trieste. My impression is that most guests stay for a quick stopover and not very long, for which this hostel is just fine. You should know that it's one of those hostels that may charge for lots of little things (towel, breakfast, late check-out or check-in, etc.), though the charges are posted clearly. The other downside is that the internet was terribly slow and only available from the lobby

Good location right beside the station and 5-10 minutes from Piazza Unità. Not really a hostel, no communal area, but the rooms have wardrobes and tables. In 2015 it should not be difficult to get wifi in your room though. Wifi is only available on a couch outside the office. Helpful staff, just a couple that runs the place alone, but they'll charge you for printing, to watch your bags or any other 'luxury' you might request. By far the cheapest in town though.

Sergio and Giovanna are the most caring hosts we've met in this trip. They helped us with all sorts of information about the city, the surroundings, the transport system, and even talked to us for a long time about everything. The hostel may be a little dark, but their empathy it's a rarity among other places. The bed is big, and even though the room faces the street, the double windows protected us from the city noises. The bathrooms are clean and smell good. Definetely will stay here again.

Friendly staff, very comfy beds- especially having been in bunk beds the rest of my trip. A great location to see Trieste from. The only negative was no common area.

Very near from the main train/bus station. 10 minutes walking to main attractions in Trieste. Average reception staff, but helpful nevertheless. The hostel located at 3rd floor of old apartemen building. The wifi connection wasn't reachable to some rooms. However, the hostel was clean and tidy. Got upgraded to a private room which is nice.

Pros: Near Bus/Train Station, quiet, nice view (from the four bed dorm) Cons: No electricty in one of the bathrooms (we were there for two nights), super slow and choppy wifi
