Good location right beside the station and 5-10 minutes from Piazza Unità. Not really a hostel, no communal area, but the rooms have wardrobes and tables. In 2015 it should not be difficult to get wifi in your room though. Wifi is only available on a couch outside the office. Helpful staff, just a couple that runs the place alone, but they'll charge you for printing, to watch your bags or any other 'luxury' you might request. By far the cheapest in town though.

Sergio and Giovanna are the most caring hosts we've met in this trip. They helped us with all sorts of information about the city, the surroundings, the transport system, and even talked to us for a long time about everything. The hostel may be a little dark, but their empathy it's a rarity among other places. The bed is big, and even though the room faces the street, the double windows protected us from the city noises. The bathrooms are clean and smell good. Definetely will stay here again.
Friendly staff, very comfy beds- especially having been in bunk beds the rest of my trip. A great location to see Trieste from. The only negative was no common area.
Very near from the main train/bus station. 10 minutes walking to main attractions in Trieste. Average reception staff, but helpful nevertheless. The hostel located at 3rd floor of old apartemen building. The wifi connection wasn't reachable to some rooms. However, the hostel was clean and tidy. Got upgraded to a private room which is nice.
Pros: Near Bus/Train Station, quiet, nice view (from the four bed dorm) Cons: No electricty in one of the bathrooms (we were there for two nights), super slow and choppy wifi
We stayed in a private room with three beds, and we were really satisfied! The room was spacious, bright, clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was right in front of our room. The staff was very helpful, I was feeling sick and they brought me a cup of tea. :) The location is excellent, very close to the bus and railway station. Downside is that the wi-fi doesn't work in rooms, only in the common area. But then again, it gives you a chance to meet other people who are staying at the hostel. :)

Excellent location, kind and helpful staff, VERY clean and fresh place! I liked my superspacious 3-bed dorm with normal beds, no typical-hostel-metal-squeaky-bunk beds here. I liked the charm of the old building too. Toilettes and showers were clean and there was even shampoo to use. However I ran out of hot water one time, I believe you have to wait a while after someone uses it. No kitchen and fridge. People wrote this place was boring, rather peaceful I would say. I recommend it!!
friendly staff, very large room, great location. great recommendations on where to try local food and get a taste of the rich history of trieste
Very friendly staff and very close to the citycenter and the station! I really enjoyed my stay! Unfortunately there is no kitchen.
The whole staying experience is seriously worst than what I expected... And the service was very poor... The owner cares nothing more than the money... and you can tell his desire for cash at the first 5 minutes However, this seems like a only choice in Trieste... So the recommendation will be get out of Trieste as soon as possible if you really have to pass by
It's very near to the train and bus stations, and less than 10 minutes walk to the center. My room was big and clean, the owner was nice and helpful. If you are looking for a hostel to meet people, don't go to this place, if you want a very quiet place to rest, it is a good option.
Really nice, and so close to the bus station. No lockers in rooms though.
