Luciano is a very nice host. He owns a lot of apartments throughout Riomaggiore so you never know where you will be. The 10 bed dorm is very cramped but works out fine because you are never in your room. You have to walk up a bit of a hill to check in. I would recommend staying in Riomaggiore or Vernazza as there are more to do in these towns.

Nice family run business. We were provided with a very clean but windowless & fairly characterless double with en suite in a stand-alone apartment (room) just 10 steps from the harbourside. The train ran somewhere underneath the room so there were occasional rumblings in the early morning but it wasn't very loud and you shouldn't be lying in bed when the beautiful ocean is so close! Price was a little expensive for what you get but you're really paying for the privilege of staying in Riomaggiore.

Great family run guest house! The family was so sweet in showing us around town and all the shortcuts to take to the train station. The hike up to the room was exhausting, but it more than made up for it with the spectacular views from being high up! Great rooms with roomy bathrooms. Even had a large living room with 2 couchs perfect for large groups! Great romantic getaway!

It was my first experience in a hostel and it exceeded all expectations. Location-many many steps to carry luggage up, but if you make it you are rewarded with one of the best views in RioMaggiore. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Location is prime. Best town in Cinque Terre, right on the water. No lockers, but the town and hostel are pretty safe. The room was packed full of people, not much room to get around, but everyone staying there was extremely friendly and the living quarters just led to faster friendships! Highly recommended!

The spectacular location of this hostel makes up for few it's short comings. The dorms were basically two bedrooms, one containing a kitchenette and two bunks and three bunks in the other room. Definitely no room to swing a cat. But if spending time in your room is not on the agenda anyway (why would u Cinque Terra) the indifferent staff, lack of any lockers and nasty notes about being fined for an unclean kitchen are still worth it. Everything was clean. Needs internet to give it a boost.

No lockers or security at all. Location was amazing, 30 seconds to the Marina and just off the main road. Rooms were cramped but kitchen was good. Bathrooms were cleaned daily. Riomaggiore was beautiful, I recommend the hostel because there isn't much better for such a good price. It is well set out for socialising, there's an outside area and a small table inside.

Luciano was the best ever... he spoke great English, warm, friendly, and so helpful. It was in a great location. It was at the top of town so a little bit of a hike but not too bad at all. We loved walking into our room and finding clean sheets and towels and a lock on our door. Our pad had a kitchenette and a bathroom. AC!!!!!! you betcha!! It was our favorite place we stayed at on our whole backpacking trip through Italy.

this was a great room with an unforgettable view. Only thing is be warned that the climb to the top is no cake walk. We counted about 250 steps to our room but the view was breathtaking. The owner was very nice and funny, making jokes about my inability to keep up with the rest on the climb. I would highly recommend this place! Cinque Terre is so incredible and one of my favorite spots that I have visited.

This company places you in one of many apartments around the village. Ours was VERY close to the water (good) but without a view (bad) and near some other noisy apartments (bad). There was 10 beds in an apt with 2 bathrooms with a full kitchen. It was a very tight fit, but with luck and good roomates, its good. No air conditioning, but a fan and cool night temperatures make it ok. If there is something cheaper, go for it, but otherwise, this is probably the best shared apt you can find at this $

It was a fun hostel in an excellent location. It is located in the first town of Cinque Terre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very easy to meet people at this hostel. The only disappointing part is that it was dirty.
