It was an okay place to stay, convenient location but quite expensive for what it is and breakfast was a joke.

It was a good location but the woman was unfriendly and wifi was spotty. Breakfast was weak. Wouldnt go back, would find another, more friendly hostel.

They are serious about check out ending at 9; the lady was mad at us since we got lost, didn't call, and didn't show up until 9:15,. She had to come back to check us in. The only reason I wouldn't recommend staying here is because of the shared bathroom. It's tough when you're on a tight schedule and other people are using it. But, the bathroom is clean! It's a quiet place.

Nice place to stay. Very good facilities. Nice rooms. Kitchen to use.

We stayed in a private room with 2 twins. Clean, kitchen for use, and good location. No wifi and staff didn't provide an introduction to the city, neighbourhood or map. Great restaurant around the corner Antica Drogherie.

Nice stay! Close to all the nice and interesting spots!

Could not fault the accommodations for the price bracket. Very good value. Spotlessly clean and in an excellent location. Will stay again.

Lovely and charming place. This nice and clean hostel is located near Lucca city center. The landlord of the hostel was very helpfull and organised us some safe and not so expensive place to park our car, becouse the hostel is located in paid parking area. I really recommend this hostel!

Nice apartment on a quiet location with 3 rooms, shared bathroom and kitchen (which is equiped for cooking a meal yourself if you don't feel like eating out) Breakfast consists of toast and sweet bread, which is good enough (although not great). Owner is nice and helpful.

The hostel is good for the town and very quiet considering its location. The room was clean and big and 3 keys to make sure our belongings stayed safe. My only negative comment would be that the breakfast was minimal. Very little choice and not much provided. Take your own tea bags, juice, fruit etc !

This is my first review of a hostel as I enjoyed it so much that I wish to tell whoever is going to book it. 1)The hostel is inside the citywall 2)the room is CLEAN 3)it is quiet, well the whole town is quiet. 4)there is kitchen to cook and there is breakfast. 5)the wifi works and i later put note on the paper that the password should be all lower cases 6)there is heater in each room inc. the bathroom , 7)and the landlady would give you hair dryer as well. 8)the laundry is nearby. Cheers

Lovely place within the old city walls. I had a room in what would basically be an apparment/home of a local resident. It had a shared kitchen, lounge and bathroom. Very homely atmosphere as it's set up as a home rather than a hostel. Highley recommended. Note that the manager doesn't live on site so there is no extended availability/access to the manager. For the independant traveller this is perfect.
