Great place, Brenda really looked after us and we were right on the beach. For those who don't realise, it is not in Agadir, it's about 2 hours south so make sure Mirleft is where you want to go. (It's much better than Agadir!) Hassan's food (the cafe next door) is amazing and for chilling out in a truly relaxing place, Aftas beach house rules!

The location was awsome-right by the beach- but the house wasn't clean at all.

Stunning location and an excellent host. And sunsets of the highest order. Highly recommended but note that Aftas Beach House is not in Agadir...which is a good thing. It is in Mirleft, a good 3 hours to the south.

What a place! This hostel is all about the amazing character and location. Arriving in the basking endless sunshine, we were greeted by the fabulous Brenda who had kindly provided directions on how to locate the place. It is pretty much a dream as you descend into this hidden cove to find a Moroccan style house tucked onto a surfer's beach. The highlight was being taken fishing of the rocks and being able to cook my catch for dinner. Cannot wait to return, well worth the 140km for Agadi.

Awesome location, dinners, monrad and brenda are very nice. The only thing that I was a bit "disappointed" were the fact that the dinner PRICES are not listed and it seems to depend to different factors :p. Besides this, everything were perfect!!! I will come back for sure!

It is a very good place to relax, its right in front of the beach. This was our last stop in Marroco, perfect to get away from the husseling of the big cities. Brenda a Morad -both run the show here- were very nice people.

The hostel is on a bay where there are almost no people. it is amazing and the sunset is just unbelievable! the rooms are quote small, but there is everything you need. There is a nice terrace, the staff is very helpful, the breakfast was good, but not so much. the hostel is very far from agadir, we came from essaouira and it took us about 10 hours! but in the end its worth it.

Aftas Beach House exudes the personality of its lovely English host Brenda. I was surprised to find this little private gem in the middle of nowhere by the town of Mirleft. The little cove has beautiful white sand, three tiny surf cafes shoulder to shoulder. And the rooms are clean and cozy. I wake up to coffee, breakfast, and a warm welcome. Step off the front porch and my toes are in the sand. There is a German/Berber couple next door who gives surf lessons and serve little snacks.

Staying at Aftas was an absolute joy! We had one of the best holidays we've ever had and a large portion of that is down to the lovely hospitality from Brenda and beautifully presented guest house she owns. The guest house itself is literally on the beach as described and it's a nice walk to the local town of Mirleft. Although Hostel World says this is in Agadir, it's a good taxi ride away but is worth every minute. Brenda will gladly sort you one out. The pictures don't do this place Justice!

The most beautiful place in the World! I mean it! AftasBeachHouse is earnst on the beach and the waves washing over its stairs. It is a perfect place to escape from other so noisy maroccan cities. You can chill here and enjoy the ocean view. And of course about Brenda... She is amazing and friendly person so helpful and caring. She made that we felt right at home. I hope to we see you each other again soon :D
