The hostel was really quiet (maybe 'cause there were not a lot of guests) and is very well located! It's funny that the place is a hamam, so U can meet clients in the reception. It's too bad our room had no mirror (girls need a mirror) and not a lot's of place to put things, just some shelves. Also the ladder of one bunk bed was broken so one friend had to do a bit of gym to go up late at night! We didn't use the kitchen or any facilities else than the bathroom so I can't tell about that...

We had a four bed room for four travelers for five days and were quite happy. The hamam location is rather intriguing (though\' of course, this is not among the nicest of hamams within the city). The room and bathrooms were pleasantly clean (I had a really bad bathroom cleanliness experience at a different hostel in Istanbul a few months ago). Kitchen and terrace are at the top and although it does not offer much of a view, it is a pleasant place to eat breakfast (not included) or have a drink.

Both the local and the staff are very welcoming. There is a great atmosphere and everything is very clean and tidy. the best value for money I have ever found.

This hostel could have so much potential if it raised it\'s standards. I stayed for two weeks here, and not once was my room cleaned, or sheets replaced with new ones. The hostel actually being within the old Hammam is very cool, although since there is no sign out front many (including myself) have had a difficult time finding it. The check in is actually downstairs inside the Hammam entrance. Would be nice if they cleaned up the roof terrace too, it is filled with junk, and dirty tables.

Our stay in this hostel was good for this price. However, the room we had (4 bed dorm) was ok, but nothing special and no breakfast was included in the price. Because of the hamam in the house, the climate in the house was always humid and the towels and everything was always a bit wet. Besides there was some mould in our room. But the location is very good, the hostel is very close to Taksim and I would recommend the hostel because for this price it's really ok.

At first the place looks obscure, hard to spot. Very easy to find from ISTIKAL street, into Turni cebassi. The street is full of antique shops, art shops, bookshops, antique books, Its like a bazaar outside...quiet, serine and very buy a beer just on you doorstep. Street full of good restaurants.Famous Hamam just down the road...Pity I cannot speak Turkish language...

Staff was really friendly, but the language barrier was hard. We had to use Google Translate to communicate with them in Turkish which made the experience that much more interesting. Rooms were nice and spacious. Good location if you want an experience of the locals. Cheap restaurant close by with Turkish cuisine. 10 minute walk to Taksim. Dog to play with!
