Cheap with average standard in an uncharming location, but close to public transport. Basically a motel between a highway and an industrial site. Standard rooms, not the most comfy beds and NOT SOUNDPROOF at all. We could hear our neighbours like they were in the same room =) Not much of interest in the immediate area but really close to Fredrichfelde train station, easy to get in to town.

We had a double room and it did not look like a hostel indeed - it was an average hotel room equiped with new furniture,TV, towels...that was great! As for the location, it is not the best - like 8-9km from the city centre but the overground train station is around the corner and you can make it without any change to the centre, by tram it is just 1 change. This hotel is a very good value for money and I will recommend it to all my friends going to Berlin!!!

a bit far from the center, but there is a train station 5 min walk from the hotel which makes it very easy to get wherever you will

That hotel was the best idea I have ever had. We paid the price of a hostel and stayed and in a HOTEL, that was amazing! They have a delicius breakfeast, the bathroom and the room are cleaned everyday and its pretty close to the metro station. The staff was pretty kind and we loved our stay there. The only problem is you have to book our the beds inside the room, so you have to be travelling in a big group.

Paid for a private double room and recieved a single room...one staff member was quite rude about it when I asked about the issue!
