In the shadow of the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, this place was probably the cleanest hostel I've ever visited. Definitely not a party house - though we all went out drinking nearly every night - and it's right next to the tram. Breakfast on the top deck was Turkish but satisfying/filling. The neighborhood it's in - Sultanahmet - is the historic old city, and the only thing to do is at night. You'll still have a blast though.

I loved this place. The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was excellent and easy to find (follow the directions exactly and you should have no problem), and the breakfast was delicious. There were some security issues while I was there, so be sure to use the spacious lockers provided. I will definitely stay there again when I return to Istanbul.

can you imagine a place where the manager uses the vacuum cleaner to keep all the dust away, even in the showers? not to mention those huge and strong beds, things you usually don`t find in hostels. it`s one of those perfect ones where you also have space to unpack(for long time travellers).

By far the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The reception guy is SO nice and helpful! AMAZING breakfast on the rooftop terrace, so cool! They had eggs, good Turkish cheese, olives, yogurts, breads, fruit....so good! Also the facilities are SUPER clean. Lockers provided, safe. Met really fun people here. Perfect location! I would definitely come back to Agora if I return to Istanbul.

Simply amazing place. Staff are the best i've been hosted by at any hostel i've been. So very kind and helpful. Location is perfect to the main sights of Istanbul and staff will inform you of some bonus secrets around the city. This place is very clean and well lit. Not a party hostel, just a quiet place to meet people and share stories. very cosy. Very cool. I would love to stay here again any time.

The staff are wonderful especially the overnight guy, the breakfast if extremely good, location perfect for sightseeing monuments & only $0.5 tram to party district. Awesome bathrooms, beds, extremely clean, huge lockers for your bags/backpacks. If your Japanese (im not) but i'd highly recommend stay as one of the staff members is Japanese! The hostel lacked a vibe/fun atmosphere however after inspecting other hostels in the istanbul area it was just a slow period for the entire city. Stay Here!

Amazing hostel! Nice breakfast, clean, huge locker, good shower. Transfer service to and from the airport. Top 3 Hostel I've stayed for sure. Nothing to complain about.
