Please have soap in the bathrooms. Better shutters for the windows to help keep noise out. Cleanliness needs to be improved.

Unfortunatly I cant' give good opinion to this hostel. Price is good and for this money i didn't expected any great facilities, just only place to take a shower and sleep. And with sleep there it was really great problem, because of nearest bar playing the music during the night, and also because other guest making the terrible noice at 4, 5 a.m. I can understand that not every people can baheve correct, but it's staff job to do something with annoying customers.

staff were really friendly, polite and always very helpful. breakfast was good value. no lock to dorm room, but the front door required you to buzz for reception to allow you back in and is manned 24 hours. wifi rarely worked upstairs in the room, you had to stay in the communal lounge to use it. lockers in room. showers were ok. hostel has a bar/restaurant next door. excellent location. close to bus station. all in all, good for the price you pay and would recommend.

clean, friendly staff, close to bus/boat terminal and good base to visit Sicily (Taormina, Siracusa, Roman vila, Etna). Special mention for Alexander and very good traveling information he provided. Strongly recommended

First of all, Ellie is awesome. The staff at the hostel were super helpful and helped us decide exactly what was worth visiting. With the bar/restaurant just downstairs it adds a whole new life to this hostel. The restaurant attached is not just for the hostel guests, it attracts hundreds of locals for dinner on multiple nights. This hostel is great and highly recommended.

Great staff who were all willing to help us without a second thought. Awesome location just 100 feet from a very busy market that has just about everything you need to creat a feast.

the hostel was under renovation but I felt comfortable. but the bottom sides of a bed in dorm were too low to sit upright.

Fantastic staff, good location, has a really nice restaurant/bar right beside it. Supposedly the first hostel in Italy, I think! As such, facilities are quite old. Shower facilities are not great, but bathroom is okay. A decent stay, but rather unremarkable.

I stayed at Agora Hostel last week with a few friends and we had such an amazing time. The location, staff, and atmosphere were wonderful! I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Catania.

I was liitle bit cold at night and their were in a reform by the time I stayed there and there is a train raway direct in the back of the hostel wich can be vary loud. But the day staff was very nice and helpfull, they indicated us nice things to do and see, the room and toillets were clean, the kichen too. The breakfast is not the best of the world, but ther best I got in one month trevaling.

The stay in the hostel was good. Nice staff and the room was also good. The only thing which we didn't like so much was that you just get a cheap price by booking in internet.

It was a nice and friendly place, good location for seeing Catania. Bus station was very near by and quiet cheap, though I more often took trains because I had a Eurail pass. The trains often stop for random periods of time inbetween stops, so I would recomend buses. The restuarant was also very well done with lots of good food and many locals.

The best thing about this hostel (besides the great location) was the staff. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

There wasn't hot water in the sink, just under the shower so if you need to wash your face in winter you're freezing. The staff was not so nice and if you try to ask for a service they say just "You should check better" that for me means DIY. The acustic of the room is very bad (you are not able to sleep in the night): there was a dome roof in the room and if somebody is snooring (even silently) in a corner, the noise is amplyfied on the opposite corner. In the room there is just one wall socket

We stayed in dorms in the off season and had a dorm to ourselves. Would definitely go for a private room next time. Adored Catania, would love to come again in summer, but may look for somewhere quieter. Agora Hostel fantastic for party people! Great staff, great atmosphere.
