FANTASTIC PLACE! Nice rooms. The hostel has a well known local restaurant and bar with the best pizza in all Catania. Lots of local young people. Happy hour and food specials for guests of the hostel. Live music. There is an underground cave with Roman ruin and running water under the hostel. Great location. Nice guest kitchen. I have been lots of places- This has to be one of the best hostels in Europe. Thanks!

Great spot near the fish market. Quite noisy, very close to train line and sound carries to the bedrooms. Had heater in dormroom which was great.

The best place ever! Located just in the center, close to bus station and main attractions of Catania. Friendly stuff available 24/7 and always there for us. All the facilities meet our needs and coincide the description on web-site. The bar round the corner comes in handy (especially on Monday when there's no other parties in town). We actually stayed in Agora twice during this trip (there was a 5-day break for Palermo), so when we returned stuff welcomed us warmly. It was really nice, thanks!

Perfect location for access to the rest of the city. They also assist in organising trips up Etna and to Taormina which was really handy. One issue however was the security of personal belongings as well as the bedding that they provide. Both could have been much better. For what you paid though, you cant ask for much more. Staff are great, speak perfect English and give great tourist advice

The hostel is situated in the center, near the main sqaure and the chatedrale. That is the only good thing about it. Rooms are dirty and the toilets I dont want even to mention! They are dirty, old, with metal doors. All hostel looks like falling apart. Beds are covered with some plastic and the covers seem not beeing washed for years. Breakfast is poor. There is contunuos noise in the hall so dont expect to get any sleep.

Very friendly, best value for money because of coupons for "happy food" and "happy hour" for the nearby restaurant and bar.

The rooms were extremely cold during the night, so sometimes it was really hard to sleep even though we asked for an extra blanket. Apart from that, there's nothing to complain about. The staff was always helpful and the bar is probably one of the best in Catania (there's live music twice a week, a huge party every Monday, and you get discounts for food and drinks if you are staying in the hostel).

Great place with very good heterogeneous people! there are mostly youth people and the particularity of the hostel is that there is a "social party night" every monday, very interesting to know new people. the hostel is very cheap especially for big mixed dorms. I was in a 12 people mixed dorm for only five euros per night

We stayed in a 8 bed dorm for 4 nights and loved it. Staff were very nice and helpful, great atmosphere in the hostel and we met some really nice people. The bar/restaurant that is attached to the hostel was good to go and have some drinks at and listen to the live music. Decent kitchen in the hostel to cook your own food, plus there are fresh produce markets right outside the front door basically. Would definitely come back to this hostel.
