We loved our stay at Agriturismo Castello di Selvole! Stefania and Piero were the most amazing people we could meet, always very friendly and helpful. They made us feel at home. The housing was clean, comfortable and well equiped and the location was beautiful, perfect for knowing the real Tuscany! The food at the restaurant was also really good. Perfect stay! We would surely be back at Castello di Selvole.

The weekend my friends and I spent at Castello di Selvole was one of the most relaxing and beautiful weekends of my life! I wish we could have stayed longer! The location is incredible, the staff was amazing, the food, the wine - everything was perfect. It is an exceptional value for the cost, and gave me memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Location among the vineyards is ideal. A little harder it would be to get there without a car, but it's worth it. The apartments are very spacious and clean, the staff friendly and correct.

Wonderful location and friendly, helpful staff. We'd love to come back...

This place was awesome. located in a serene environment amidst vineyards.. a perfect place to experience tuscany. only problem with us was that this place is not accessible by public transport so you either need a car or taxi hire.

It was perfect! Staff very nice and take care of clients.

Basic cookinh equipment in the kitchen (salt, pepper, oil) would have been great! We loved the pool and that is was sooooo quiet! And it is in a reasonable distance to Siena (20 mins driving).

We had a fantastic time at your hotel! You were extremely hospitable and we couldnt believe how nice you all were. The free pizza one night and the lemonchello was delicious! We would all come back in a heartbeat the next time were in the area.

Mario and the owners where just great to us as we were the first guests of the season. This location will require you to have a vehicle as it is located in a vineyard, but the views and grounds are just beautiful and worth the drive.

Castello di Selvole is not a hostel near the city and not anywhere near il campo. It is a get away from the busy life and a place to relax and see the beautiful countryside of Siena. The owner and the workers are very, very kind people and I stayed there twice (three nights each) in the past month. It is extremely clean, and there is no fear of threat of security. If you are looking for a cabin-like vacation and somewhere to relax, I would highly recommend Castello.

Apartments nearby a Castello in the vineyards, remote location. Our apartment's equipment was very basic but sufficient. Lovely views, great swimming pool and BBQ facilities. The road to get there is gravel (as many in this area). There is a bus station in walking distance, however I would not like to stay there without a car.

Location is great, close to Siena, only 10-20 minutes by car.If you don't have a vehicle or you are afraid of insects and close connection to nature choose a hotel instead. 70 euro per day sounds a reasonable price as it is close to Siena, but we found later on a beautiful and clean apartman with lovely view in Montalchino for the same price.

Very nice place ! I loved it. the place is more design for families than for young couples buteven thought, it was very peacefull

This was my second visit, and loved every minute of it! Fantastic get away to relax whilst taking in the amazing scenery. Having a hire car this time made it just that bit better as the surrounding areas are so very beautiful!! I would definately stay again.

make sure you've got a car with good tires and/or offroad capabilities since the roads to and on the area of castello di selvole are pretty bad (dirt roads with massive holes and gutters). the owner's very nice and the surrounding area is beautiful. you're in siena within 25 mins but a car is absolutely mandatory. I've been there for a week and noticed that there were many familiys with young children (no prob for me) but not the classical party location. taste also the fine red wines.

This wasn\'t exactly what we had expected (we expected more to see and do in the area) but this was more of a place for relaxing. It\'s quite a ways from the town of Siena so if you don\'t have a car, you\'re pretty much stuck there. There is a nice pool though, and we pretty much spent our time there. The caretaker (can\'t remember his name!) picked us up and dropped us off at the train station and was super friendly and helpful! There were bugs in our bathtub and mosquitos in our roo

This is an idyllic spot with wonderful views and plenty of spacious accommodation but your own transport is essential as it is miles from anywhere. You cannot even buy a pint of milk there! The approach road is a rough track after a long ride on unmade roads. However that is the only disadvantage. There is a very nice swimming pool and next year they hope to have a restaurant.

great owners, beautiful location in the tuscan hills, beautiful view and pool.

We had a great experience. It was authentic...sensational view, perfect for "getting away from it all," and close enough to an excellent restaurant. The road is not paved but this added to the agritouristo's charm. Be sure you stop at a market on the way and load up fpr your stay. We would definitely return and stay longer than 2 days. We liked the winery tour and the capability of purchasing wine.
